With more than a thousand creatives from different segments, the expected audience for DW! SP 2024 , which has mostly free activities, is around 50 thousand visitors. Encouraging the appreciation of emblematic public spaces and neighborhoods that concentrate centers of renewal and reinvention of the creative economy and authorial design, the event will also promote specially segmented actions in the Center of São Paulo , where there will be an unprecedented occupation of historic buildings.

Below, check out details of the seven districts of the capital of São Paulo where DW! São Paulo Design Week 2024 will be present.

- Gabriel Avenue

Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva is the hottest address in the city when it comes to the world of architecture and decor . Running through the Jardins, the avenue is home to more than a hundred stores and flagships – as well as cafés and restaurants – focusing on architecture , design and decoration .
Full of launches and increasingly creative showcases, it is the right address to discover some of the festival's most interesting activations , lectures and parties.

D&D Shopping

D&D Shopping is entirely dedicated to decoration and design, and was one of the pioneers in bringing the concept of specialization in the segment to Brazil in 1995. There are over 60 stores , as well as a gastronomic and service area. Due to the concentration of major brands, it is an essential address for those who want to check out various launches, exhibitions, surprising shop windows and other events.

- Gardens, Ibirapuera, Moema and South

This is one of the districts that brings together more than one neighborhood with attractions in locations close to Alameda Gabriel. For the public, it is worth planning to combine activities in these two districts on the same day to optimize the schedule. Located in the southern region of São Paulo , the neighborhoods are home to some points of interest for those who love design and architecture, such as Ibirapuera Park , which is home to the Bienal Foundation, the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM) and the Afro Brazil Museum. A Galeria Metrópole terá programações durante a DW! SP 2024.

- Downtown, Barra Funda, Santa Cecilia, Paulista and Higienopolis

Diversity, culture and art are the defining characteristics of this district. In recent years, the expanded downtown area – in neighborhoods such as República, Santa Cecília, Barra Funda and Bela Vista – has gained emphasis on the programming with events held in iconic buildings such as Galeria Metrópole, Edifício Virgínia and Biblioteca Mário de Andrade. Here is also Avenida Paulista with its skyscrapers and the Higienópolis neighborhood , with buildings by prestigious architects such as Vilanova Artigas, Rino Levi, Franz Heep and Artacho Jurado.

- Pinheiros, Vila Madalena and West

This district, which brings together neighborhoods in the western region of the capital of São Paulo, is bustling with its generous offer of bars, restaurants and cafes, such as Pinheiros and Vila Madalena . In 2023, one of the highlights was the Circuito Baixo Pinheiros area, full of cool shops, ateliers, art galleries and studios that house various new developments in independent design of furniture, objects, fashion and other areas . The scene in the region also includes important spaces, such as the Tomie Ohtake Institute. Exposição CASACOR 35 anos no Shopping Cidade Jardim recebe convidados

- Garden City Shopping Mall

Shopping Cidade Jardim is one of the most luxurious in the capital and has national and international brands, good cuisine and exclusive services such as the 'private shopper'. During DW! SP 2024, the Rosenbaum Fair will occupy 3 floors of Home & Design in Cidade Jardim with a fair in an exhibition format - with exclusive works and artists.

- Lar Center and North Shopping Mall

Lar Center , opened in 1987 in the North Zone, is the first shopping mall dedicated to decoration and design in São Paulo. In its 45,000 m2 , it concentrates practically all segments related to home design, from construction to decoration, including utensils and a multitude of accessories in more than a hundred stores. In 2023, it expanded its gourmet area with a new gastronomic alley, which inspired the theme of the Design to See and Eat exhibition at DW! SP 2023. In this edition, the mall maintains the tradition of hosting major design exhibitions during the festival.
