With plans to expand their family, the lawyer couple bought this
150 m² apartment in Gávea (RJ), with a view of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and Christ the Redeemer, and soon commissioned a renovation project with cool decor from the
Manuela Santos Arquitetura office, from the
CASACOR Rio cast.

“The clients asked for a cozy social area, with integrated
living , dining and balcony to enhance the view of the lake, as well as cool and striking decor,” says the architect.

Overall, the project sought to reflect the creative personality of the couple, who appreciate art and have a habit of taking photos and playing musical instruments in their spare time. It is no coincidence that the wall that delimits the dining area was painted emerald green to highlight works by two renowned artists: the photography is by
Maritza Caneca and the painting on paper, by
Macelo Solá .
In the social area, there are pieces signed by Brazilian designers, such as the pair of Mad armchairs (by
Jader Almeida ), the Helga dining chairs (by
Estudiobola ) and the Mocho stool (by
Sergio Rodrigues ).

Another highlight is the reading corner, consisting of the Gilberto armchair (by
Paulo Alves ), the wall lamp with
neon light and the carpentry bookcase with shelves supported by hydraulic pipes.
