The Pinacoteca de São Paulo will open a new building this Saturday, March 4th: the Pina Contemporânea , which will now display the institution's contemporary art collection. The new building is located in downtown São Paulo, just 80 meters from the main museum and, with the addition, the Pinacoteca de São Paulo complex (formed by the Pina Luz, Pina Estação and now the Pina Contemporânea) becomes the second largest museum in Latin America , behind only the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico.
