It's not just music that Coachella survives! Revealing a series of large-scale installations, signed by designers, architects and artists of different nationalities, the festival offers, in all its editions, art as a landmark and public space — to be seen from perspectives as diverse and dynamic as the programming of festival artists. Artist Kumkum Fernando makes art figures that are typically 60 to 70 centimeters tall, but for Coachella 2023, he stepped out of his comfort zone and went for colossal statues – measuring up to 25 meters .

As an artist living and working in Vietnam, the rich colors of South Asian art and architecture, including Tibetan and Hindu temples, stimulate your imaginative reflexes . Each statue presents a poetic narrative and is illuminated in a pinkish hue at night.

2. Molecule Cloud, by Vincent Leroy

Parisian artist Vincent Leroy created huge reflective spheres that resemble clouds, acting like mirrors , reflecting people and the sky as the sculptures change shape.
When viewed from a distance, American artist Güvenç Özel 's “Holoflux” appears sculptural, but the 18-meter-tall structure, made of steel and wood, takes on many three-dimensional and sometimes invisible forms .

According to Özel, the work of art is a reflection on our relationship with the physical and virtual world, using architecture and human experience as “an ecosystem of different media”.

4. Eden, by Maggie West

American artist Maggie West is used to creating art in the natural world and using plants, minerals and other ecological items in her work. This installation for Coachella 2023 showcases her love of “florals” in 20 steel sculptures that reach up to 17 meters tall.

The seven-story multicolored spiral tower known as "Spectra" has been a fixture at the festival since 2018. Three years in its conception and design, it is an ambitious and architecturally informed installation, featuring a spiral design, an observation deck at the pinnacle and a stunning color scheme that reflects the lively spirit of the festival and its location.
