CASACOR Brasília will take place from August 15 to October 16 for the third consecutive time at the BRB Mané Garrincha Arena, one of the city's architectural symbols. The 32nd edition It extols art in spaces with works by artists from Brasilia and in galleries with collective exhibitions. Practically every room has made room for paintings, sculptures and other artistic works in the composition of the decoration. A dedicated gallery was even created within the exhibition in the project by the duo Débora Bardales and Juliana Castro , where collections loaned from three local galleries – Referência Galeria, Expoarte and Cerrado Galeria – are displayed in suspended blocks. The project by the Olzi Arquitetura office, by Ana Luísa Zinato and Juliana Oliveira, called Le Jardin , also reproduces a gallery, this one with exclusive works from the flower collection of the Brasília-based artist Bella Salvati . Mariana Leal 's space, Morada 11.11 , is a house-gallery with the works of the renowned artist from Sergipe who lives in Bahia, Jenner Augusto , the architect's great-uncle. On one wall of the space are only rare works by the painter. Renata Ciccarini 's space, Com Viver , chose to include works of art from Cerrado Galeria as an element of sophistication and elegance to the project. Mariana Leal - Morada 11.11. Reaffirming its commitment to the dissemination of art, CASACOR Brasília has dedicated a space to the exhibition “Portraits: A Cry for Consciousness” , a project featuring black and white photographs taken at the school environment of the Elementary School (CEF) 28 in Ceilândia. The photos were taken by photographer Amanda Luz , under the direction of her father, public school teacher Toni Luz. By portraying 15 students from the school, the project seeks to redefine black beauty, denounce racism and promote social awareness. Service – CASACOR Brasilia 2024
