To enhance this
620 m² house located in
Nova Lima (MG) , the residents commissioned a project from architect
Júnior Piacesi , from the Piacesi Arquitetura office and
CASACOR MG team, to make better use of the outdoor space and also create environments to receive friends and family.
In the outdoor area, for example, the previously disjointed
flooring was given two types of covering:
honed Bahia beige marble and wooden decking . In addition to creating a sense of continuity and coziness, this combination made using the pool more practical and inviting on a daily basis.
“We also modified the existing
pool , which received a new natural
hijau stone finish, as well as space for
a hot tub and
a small beach around its perimeter,” he says.
According to the architect, in general terms, the furniture and finishes chosen reflect the clients' elegance and their desire to bring warmth to spaces through timeless fabrics and textures.
Most of the furniture is signed by Brazilian designers, with highlights including the Mole armchair with stool and the pair of Renata armchairs (by
Sergio Rodrigues ), the Sênior dining chairs and the Pétala coffee table (by
Jorge Zalszupin ), the Garça chairs (by
Studio Faro ) and the Astúrias rocking armchair (by designer
Carlos Motta ).
The
landscaping , done punctually and designed by the team at
Bia Abreu Paisagismo , explores the use of low and medium-sized vegetation, such as Adam's rib and pampas and Texas grass.
