The commemorative edition of CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul will take place from August 6th to October 2nd at the centennial Pia Chaves Barcellos building, in Porto Alegre

Having completed three decades, CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul holds one of its most emblematic editions this year – from August 6th to October 2nd – by taking the event to the historic headquarters of the Pia Chaves Barcellos Institution (Rua Dona Leonor, 360) , built in 1923, in Porto Alegre. The event opens its doors in a total area of 3,500m² , presenting the main trends in architecture, design and landscaping in 40 environments designed by a cast of 70 professionals . Located on a plot of land high up in the Rio Branco neighborhood and with a privileged view of the capital, the building will be home to environments that bring together diverse themes in spaces such as suites , studios , living rooms , bedrooms and complete apartments . In addition, the exhibition will feature outdoor areas , a café and a restaurant and wine bar to serve the visiting public. After CASACOR RS , the building, which had the objective of welcoming and educating orphaned and needy girls, and remained in operation through the Association of Franciscan Sisters until 2005, will house the new facilities of the Pampeano School. The Solar Alta Vista has, in its finishes, one of the main highlights of the project. Large panels in pau ferro harmonize with the graphite-colored carpentry – both by Evviva. The use of wood on the floor, a striking feature of Francisco Franck's projects , is present in the wood in cumaru planks from Espaço do Piso. The blue linen wallpaper by Andrea Feine covers a large part of the walls and brings harmony and even more coziness to the environment.

Lídia Maciel is also present at the CASACOR SP exhibition. One of the highlights of the space is a piece by one of the great names in world design: Michael Anastassiades , who designed the pendant over the dining table. Architect Lídia Maciel uses light as her main inspiration. for this commemorative edition of CASACOR RS.

In his sixth participation in CASACOR RS, Juarez Cruz presents Estar 22#ZERO2 , a 44m² project with fluid and minimalist spaces, including an entrance hall, intimate living room and home office. Juarez Cruz is also present in this edition of CASACOR SP.

Based on the theme of the CASACOR 2022 exhibitions, Private Infinity , the architect designed a living room that had a little bit of everything that brings her comfort , peace and satisfaction . The Neus armchair and stool and the Martini table by Luia Mantelli are highlights of the furniture. .

Trend alert! Flowing fabrics separate environments and create spaces according to the position chosen by the user. Furniture – such as beds, sofas, armchairs and stools – follow a design with curved shapes .
Flaunting rustic textures , neutral tones and a wooden oratory , “Garagem Terra e Fé” is an invitation to contemplation and the serene moments of life. This visual narrative that refers to the earth and nature is stitched together by the presence of earthy tones , which appear at various points, including the gourmet island.

The space has an elliptical shape that allows people to arrive. The building, with a story to tell, inspired the architect to pay homage to the history of the place. The floor is original and has all the beauty of the tiles from the time of construction. The colors chosen earthy tones and natural wood to bring warmth.

The project was designed to be a versatile home office . Considering a very compact space, the Versatile Home Office was designed with the versatility of the furniture in mind to make the space flexible. In parallel, the space was transformed into a place of sophistication with materials full of of technology. The concept is reinforced in several details of the project, such as armchairs , loose furniture and carpentry that bring well-being. In addition, nature enters the house, making the place a refuge and providing inspiration.

The main point of the project is to create experiences and establish visual relationships between light, shadow and shapes. Connecting to nature through the use of materials, colors and textures that incorporate characteristics of " biophilic design " into the space; valuing, in addition to straight lines, the use of curved and organic shapes, which refer to the ocean , sometimes calm and sometimes stormy, as well as our daily lives.
Two Times Duratex Space, environment of CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2022.

The Duratex Space features a living room with a fireplace that connects to the kitchen, with a food handling island and dining table. The original flooring of the space was maintained and underwent a revitalization process, eliminating damaged layers and respecting the effects of the time in wood.
