An absolute success : this was the result of the
Janelas CASACOR Tocantins poll. The
vote that elected the best environment at the exhibition in Palmas totaled an
impressive total of 8 thousand votes – a record that in itself reflects the excellence of the
20 environments installed in containers in the Graciosa Beach.
The fierce competition elected
Refúgio do Lago , by
Kanthus Arquitetura , as the favorite environment of the readers of the
CASACOR website. The project received
1,382 votes, a total of 17.41% of the total votes . In a highly disputed second place was
Urban Balcony , by Érika Abdalla; followed by
Sebrae Space , by Brava Arquitetura.
Refúgio do Lago was created by architects
Cláudia Brito and
Maria Lucirês Barros with the purpose of encouraging the
contemplation of nature – after all, the view of the sea right in front offers the best of natural life. To achieve this, the architects used a
palette colors that refer to nature , with terracotta and green, which allows visual rest and reinforces the comfort of the loose furniture.

Leo Romano Arquitetura office is responsible for the implementation project of
Janelas CASACOR Tocantins , an edition that occupies an area of 5 thousand square meters on the banks of
Praia da Graciosa , located in the dammed lake of the Luiz Eduardo Magalhães Hydroelectric Plant, on the Tocantins River, close to the Ponte Friendship and Integration, which with its 8km extension is one of the largest in Brazil.
