Architects Emilio Jordán and Percy Biaggi created a world of experimentation and connections with the art of cooking in Paraíso del Cocinero at CASACOR Peru 2017. The kitchen was represented as an intimate space, in which materials gained the central focus, not only because of their practical function, but also for the elegance of the arrangement of the different work tools.
The space is set up as a place for research and rediscovery, where the epicenter is the workshop that the chef uses to create. The counter, sometimes made of wood, sometimes of metal, runs throughout the entire space.
Design and functionality were the central axes when composing the project. The predominance of the industrial style is highlighted by the choice of coverings and lighting. The pots with plants and herbs reiterate the idea of paradise and bring life to the ambiance.
