Estar Mar is a welcoming home that Kika Mattos imagined for her father

Kika Mattos brought to every detail of her " Estar Mar " space at CASACOR Sergipe 2023 the memory of her father – who, last year, went sailing on other seas. In this moving tribute, everything was planned down to the last detail: from the blue, his father's favorite color , to the brown, which here represents firmness. In the space, the architect bets on combining colors and textures with her personal collection of works of art and furniture , creating a welcoming, cozy and unique space – just the way everyone's home should be. The sculpture made with sailor's knots resembles sargassum, seaweed, ocean foam or a fishing net, bringing an artistic installation to the space. The loose furniture hints at a relaxed and fluid life. Here, the bar cart was used to display works of art such as sculptures and paintings.
