Space represents the mother's womb through organic and fluid forms

For CASACOR Brasília 2023 , interior designers Adriana Melo and Luciana Câmara brought different trends in an exclusive 55 m² space. Named “Espaço Ventre” , the place — which includes a bedroom, bathroom and balcony — was designed as a metaphor that refers to welcoming, self-care and belonging. “We think of the uterus, or rather, the mother's womb , as our first physical home. An address that protects us and welcomes us in our fullness. This is an address where we can literally and symbolically undress ourselves, removing the masks and layers that we wear in our daily lives”, describes the duo. Between organic shapes, the space brings many trends in architecture and interior design. “The Womb Space has no corners or right angles . The meeting points of the floor, wall and ceiling are curved, the opening of the spaces has amorphous shapes and all the proposed furniture and adornments follow a more fluid line with organic fabrics”, comments Adriana.
