Cristovão Bisneto + BC Estúdio - Casa Barco. Influenced by his Tocantins ancestry, the professional invokes history, architecture and religious festivals to reflect on the sociocultural richness of Tocantins. Thus, he opts for a conceptual signature and uses the natural landscape as a starting point to compose the space with a view of the lake. The mix of styles brings references to modernist eco-brutalism, with pillars, beams and exposed concrete slabs, in contrast to the more natural textures and elements. Visual arts signed by Rogo spice up the environment with color.(Edgard César/)
/32 - Carine Bezerra Benevides - Cerrado Oasis. The professional brings green to remind us that we need to enjoy the present, who we are and where we are. The professional is inspired by affectionate memories with her father to compose the landscaping and focuses on species with great adaptability to the local climate, contributing to biodiversity and creating an ideal microclimate for the facade garden. (Edgard César)
/32 - Ludmilla Benedetti, Ana Carla Bottura, Regina Cavalcante and Kassia Vieira - Lounge IdeIA. The project is a tribute to the transformative power of knowledge production and works with interactivity as a symbol of the now. The space is made up of different environments that range from a study space to a place for talks. Colors and textures create an atmosphere of belonging by introducing regional references. (Edgard César)
/32 - Renata Brum and Paulo Marques - Legado Galeria de Arte. The project is an attribution of value to Tocantins art. With curation and exhibition design by interior designers, it celebrates the presence of characters and people who are leaving their mark, their stories and their creative essence here, showing that the North also makes art. (Edgard César)
/32 - Claudia Brito - Estúdio Morada. With the premise of redefining living and bringing the true essence of a new home, the architect proposes a space that is a celebration of the present, of the current moment of freedom and of the female achievement of living alone in an urban center, but with nature in sight. The entire space was designed with an allusion to happiness and well-being. And this feeling of contentment can only be found in an environment free from judgment and full of affection. Organic furniture, lots of plants, childhood memories, memories of grandpa's house, photographs and works of art create this home. (Edgard César)
/32 - Guisa Studio - Raízes Studio. The project is a return to the history of Brazilian houses, which hold the sweetest memories of childhood in grandmother's homes and farms. In the environment, objects from personal collections create narratives that reinforce family values and bring the feeling of warmth and belonging desired by architects Chrys Sá and Vivian Guimarães. A space that unites the cultures of Tocantins and Maranhão, North and Northeast, the origins of the two professionals, and reminds us that our inheritance for future generations are the memories and bonds we build here, in the present, but without leaving aside our past. (Edgard César)
/32 - Carol Arruda - SPA Origens. In a return to her Afro-indigenous origins, the architect designed the SPA that reflects her ancestry. The natural materials used by the indigenous peoples in the construction of the huts are the basis of the project, such as straw and bamboo. The environment also celebrates the connection with the nature of Tocantins, bringing elements such as the babaçu coconut and providing feelings of relaxation and calm through the monochromatic composition and organic nature. (Edgard César)
/32 - Lana Edla - Estúdio do Alok - The Future is Ancestral. The ancestry of the original people is the reference of Estúdio do Alok. In her fourth participation in the exhibition, the professional is inspired by the DJ's “O Futuro é Ancestral” project, to highlight what also belongs to Tocantins: the strength of the forest and traditional knowledge. All the indigenous colors and cultures were associated with sustainable elements and contemporary furniture to create a young, vibrant and art-filled studio, which comes with the signature of Bromou, a genuinely Tocantins visual artist. The work Tamba-tajá, the Legend of Indigenous Love, was chosen to frame the space. (Edgard César)
/32 - Flavio Dalla Costa - Musician's Studio. The project is a tribute to the urban lifestyle of a young man who is passionate about string instruments. The architect brings an industrial feel with emphasis on exposed installations, raw concrete walls and ceiling, as well as a wooden floor that adds a touch of coziness. Leather furniture complements the urban and casual design, and the string instruments, in addition to being used for musical practice, become decorative elements that reflect the resident's creative personality. (Edgard César)
/32 - Bezerra + Colauto Arquitetos - Praça Entrelaços. The project was conceived not only to be a meeting and resting area during the visit, but also as a space to value the living history of Tocantins architecture. In addition to the interiors with landscaping and free-standing furniture designed by the architect duo Márcio Colauto and Thamise Bezerra, the entire atmosphere of the space welcomes visitors to watch fragments of a documentary series that delves into the history of Tocantins, revealing the narratives behind the creation of the capital Palmas and its development as a planned city. (Edgard César)
/32 - Jadhy Saraiva - Nest Room. The handmade baby room, with macramé and floating furniture, was designed to embrace and reflect the most genuine maternal welcome: the nest. For her debut at CASACOR Tocantins, the architect sought to break away from tradition with the suspended crib. The room gained earthy tones and blends the boho style with the neoclassical, creating a unique and affectionate atmosphere. On one of the walls of the room, paintings by artist Ranna Ariel bring the world of children, while the crane mobile and origami paintings reference the regional fauna. (Edgard César)
/32 - Fausto Paiva Neto Signed Concrete - Taipa Studio. Rammed earth houses are part of Brazilian history and inspired the architect in the design of the studio, which is named after the construction technique. The wall, which is the main feature of the project, is a contemporary rescue of our architectural memories, of those rural houses in the interior, still common in the North. The more modern furniture contrasts with the clay, which also appears in the ornaments and further reinforces the search for the rich simplicity of Tocantins. The architect also makes reference to our landscapes, so different in the rainy and dry seasons, and brings a fashionable reinterpretation of the Ritxoko dolls, in illustrations, further emphasizing the regional culture and that of the native peoples. (Edgard César)
/32 - Deyse Cristina and Fernando Neri - Terra do Sol. The aesthetic exuberance of the Tocantins landscapes was translated into the environment designed by the veteran duo. The palette follows the colors typical of our natural beauty: greens and blues in their various nuances, the earth in shades of red and orange, the gold of the Jalapão dunes, the golden grass and our sun. Art, culture and manual skills of the people of Tocantins also shape the entire atmosphere, in a contemporary design composition. A welcoming lobby that integrates the ticket office, hall and garage is a good representation of Mitsubishi, a brand that carries in its essence the love for exploring landscapes and the outdoor lifestyle. (Edgard César)
/32 - Gledson Carreira - Espaço Leusa. “We take from life, the life we lead.” This phrase can sum up this space, designed based on affective memories, which gives us the strong feeling of visiting the home of the real resident, Mrs. Leusa, the architect’s mother. The professional was inspired by references from his own roots to show that everyday decisions directly impact future generations. The inspiration behind the space has always chosen to live life with a smile on his face and overcome adversity with faith and perseverance, teachings passed on to his family. And now, all this strength, spirituality and sensitivity appear in the space, which combines contemporary style with the welcoming atmosphere of a mother’s home. (Edgard César)
/32 - Caio de Paula - Lago Lobby. Designed to welcome and reflect the contemporary lifestyle, the project takes advantage of the view of the bridge and the surrounding nature to pay tribute to Tocantins. The multifunctional space was designed for talks and informal events, as an invitation to encounter and contemplation. The environment also explores authenticity, with lots of art and designer furniture. To further enrich the composition, the professional focuses on mixing organicity with straight lines, highlighting curtained panels and natural textures to bring a timeless, fluid atmosphere. (Edgard César)
/32 - Karla Milhomens - Aroeira Space. The project adopts the versatility of a functional environment to host CASACOR Tocantins' official events. The professional chose the aroeira tree to give the space its name: a species common in several Brazilian biomes, including the Cerrado, it is seen as a plant with spiritual power used for baths and teas, often by quilombolas, indigenous peoples and forest peoples. All these references to northern culture appear in the details of the decoration, which follows a rustic style, and are contrasted with the more modern furniture, creating a contemporary atmosphere designed to ensure the welcome and well-being of visitors and guests. (Edgard César)
/32 - Ingá Arquitetura - Boutique Madre Pérola. Celebrating art and Brazilianness. With this premise, Ingá Arquitetura designed the space for the Gustavo Eyewearque optician's shop, which is at CASACOR Tocantins for the first time. The project highlights the glass mosaic panels by artist Viviane Tenório and combines references from the Northeastern hinterland, Tocantins and religions of African origin. Breno Loeser's painting Exusíaco e Oxalufânico speaks to the theme of CASACOR by reflecting on the path we are taking towards the future of the planet. (Edgard César)
/32 - Dario Almeida - Podcast Get inspired. The environment celebrates the connection between architecture, nature and innovation. The CASACOR Tocantins podcast studio invites its visitors to be inspired, share ideas and promote the exchange of knowledge. The space overcomes the limitations of traditional podcast studios and gains a welcoming touch with the architect's proposal to bring regionalism and art to make guests more comfortable. But this, of course, without losing the functionality and ergonomics necessary for a communication environment, which promotes diverse interactions and meetings. (Edgard César)
/32 - Kiscylla Roberta - Toca Viva. A return to the human and geological history of Tocantins, praising identity, local nature and ancestral memories. Toca Viva is the Sebrae environment that, in addition to valuing our territory by bringing as references the rock drawings of archaeological sites, the waterfall and artisanal production, brings principles of sustainability by using what nature offers: clay, ecological paints made from pigments of earth and natural light. The burnt cement and the rustic stove remind us of the homes of the state's country people. (Edgard César)
/32 - Tharlon Lopes 3T Arquitetura - Cerradinho Sensorial. With handmade and sustainable toys, inspired by the nature of Tocantins, the toy library encourages children to develop their identity and individuality, while creating emotional memories with the environment. Architect and partner at Zezinho Toys, Tharlon aims to encourage children to think about environmental awareness and the preservation of the cerrado and encourages adults to reflect on the importance of play for the full development of children. It is a welcoming, playful and creative environment for children to play with more autonomy, learn to face challenges and explore the opportunities that the future may offer. (Edgard César)
/32 - Aylla Costa - Aroma Shop Cheiro da Flor. "What we have now is the present moment, but it is certain that we can awaken the past. And it is through smells and aromas that we can awaken memories and awaken memories", explains the architect. The professional took advantage of neuroarchitecture to explore not only smell, but also the other four senses in the environment of Cheiro da Flor, a Tocantins aroma brand. In addition to the commercial space, the project includes a bathroom and living room so that visitors can experience an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. (Edgard César)
/32 - Mara Magalhães - Recanto da Paisagista. The presence of green creates a symbiosis between the built environment around the 25 m infinity pool and the landscape of Lake Palmas, the project's natural backdrop. The landscaper bet on designer furniture with colors that reference the sands of the Jalapão dunes and sculptural lighting to integrate the landscaping project with the garden spaces, rich in textures and designed in a loose and natural way around the pool. (Edgard César)
/32 - Leonardo Duarte, Alexandra Rabelo, Fernanda Perna, Isabela Nogueira - Raízes Vivas. There is no greater legacy to leave for future generations than that of preservation. To convey this message, the architects brought to the bathroom choices that reproduce the sensations of our landscapes: the beauty of the mountains, the grandeur of the rough stones and our red earth, the life and freshness provided by the waters, so exuberantly green and blue in the state. (Edgard César)
/32 - Laura Mantovani - Espaço Cidade de Porto Nacional. The signature environment celebrates the uniqueness and historical and architectural value of the city of Porto Nacional, with an affective and conscious approach. The city's history is linked to navigation along the Tocantins River and the extraction of gold, even in the colonial period, inspired the choice of decorative elements, made by the hands of local artisans and which refer to the municipality's festivities and traditions. A project that harmonizes past and present in the same space, has a more flexible layout, integrates social technologies and invests in materials such as ecological brick. (Edgard César)
/32 - Jota Pacini - Orla Tropical Art D'Ville. In his first participation in CASACOR Tocantins, the professional brings the essence of outdoor living environments to the shores of Lake Palmas. The functional environment is charming and an invitation to relax. Every detail was thought out to provide comfort without sacrificing style. The choice of nautical rope furniture, in addition to valuing resistance to the weather of the outdoor environment, creates a rustic atmosphere. The color palette with sand, gold and terracotta tones bridges the gap between traditional and modern and meets the theme “As a gift, the now”. (Edgard César)
/32 - Trina Arquitetura - Tocantins Government Dome. Geodesic domes are architectural structures used by the most diverse civilizations since ancient times and, this year, they mark the environment of the Tocantins Government. Built near the lake and integrated with a teak wood deck on the sand, the space exalts the regional roots, highlighting the production of Tocantins artisans, and directs the eyes of visitors to appreciate our natural wealth. (Edgard César)
/32 - Cassia Veras and Bruno Luiz - Arcos Restaurant. The iconography of the Church of Nativity and the Araguaia Palace is revered in the restaurant. The professional duo chose to use elements from the two architectural symbols of the state to reinforce the connection between the space and the history and regional identity. Designed to provide a unique experience of contemplating the Serra do Carmo and Lake Palmas, the space blends into the landscape with large windows and roofs designed to provide shade. (Edgard César)
/32 - Cristovão Bisneto + BC Estúdio - Casa Barco. Visual arts signed by Rogo spice up the environment with color. (Edgard César)
/32 - Louise Cortez - Living Madeicom. Designed to be a space for connections between family and friends, the living room invites users to value coexistence and affection with an incredible view of Lake Palmas. The furniture takes on a prominent role and points to the versatility of wood, designed here to guarantee hospitality and serve as an invitation to good times with those who love you well. The stones and vegetation remind us of the Tocantins cerrado and the decorative pieces from the Madeicon family collection complete the atmosphere. (Edgard César)
/32 - Ingrid Casola - Essência Deca. An invitation to pause, slow down and enjoy happy moments in which we allow ourselves to live in the present. A breath of fresh air amidst the chaos. This is Essência Deca, a space for relaxation and self-care that combines design, lightness and modernity and takes the visitor's gaze to explore every corner, from the ceiling to the floor. Organic coverings, neutral tones and natural elements were chosen to convey fluidity. The design is reflected in the lighting fixtures by Guilherme Wentz and the original pieces signed by Ingrid Casola. And the Deca ceramics and metals reflect technology and innovation. (Edgard César)
/32 - Daniel de Oliveira and Roger França - Boa Vista Loft. While on the one hand the duo sums up the essence of good living, combining timelessness and emotional items, reminding us that a house should feel like a home, on the other hand, they talk about environmental awareness. At first glance, the space appears cold, with textures that reinforce the feeling of a sterile terrain. In the master suite, colors, art and vegetation are incorporated into the project as symbols of life and convey the message: we need to take care of the present in order to have a more vibrant future. (Edgard César)
/32 - Trina Arquitetura - BRB Ecos da Terra Space. Nature was the source of inspiration for the office when designing the institutional environment of Banco BRB. A space that talks about the importance of preserving Brazil's lungs, the Amazon, and seeks to provide a sensory and cultural experience to visitors, reinforcing the idea of care, which is the institution's premise. The photographic series “Os Panará e o Tempo”, made by photographer and filmmaker Loiro Cunha, was also chosen to be part of the environment: taken in the Nasepotiti village, in Xingu, the images celebrate the life and resistance of the Panará. (Edgard César)
/32 - Pâmella Labre, Pollyane Rodrigues and Edgard Miguel - Mesa de Memórias. In Brazilian living, the table is the heart of a kitchen. It is around her that present moments become memories that we will carry forever. To make reference to the memories that we can leave for future generations, the architects thought about the environment, prioritizing what they like to do most: decorating the house, setting up tables and cooking. A very affectionate cuisine with a Tocantins soul. (Edgard César)
