Manarelli Guimarães - Gourmet Granary. A place to welcome friends in a relaxed way. A compact space to enhance integration, but equipped with everything you would expect from a complete gourmet area. To this concept, the duo of professionals combines the idea of the barn – the place on the farm where food is stored. And they create this ambience with elements such as the personalized art collection, black hardware, muxarabi closures, tones of wood, wine, navy and a bold baby blue.(Divulgação/)
/30 - Adriana Fontana - Kitchen to Stay In. The “kitchen from grandma’s house” was created to awaken fond memories. And they appear in every detail of this space: the orange floor is reminiscent of the terracotta of old farms. And its classic herringbone layout creates movement and draws the eye to the custom lattice ceiling, or to the cobogó wall that offers natural light and a view of the “backyard”. On the central counter, the quartzite countertop and the copper-colored faucet contrast. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Dorascenzi Arquitetura - Emporium CASACOR. "Brazilianness" is the soul of this conceptual emporium designed by Ângela Dorascenzi: coffee, cocoa and cachaça, essentially national products, appear as protagonists both on the shelves and in the decoration. One of the walls displays a painting that brings together these three elements. To convey a feeling of coziness, the choice was made for earthy colors and intimate lighting. And, since the theme is Brazil, the architect chose national design pieces to compose the space. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Thais Baratella and Fabiana Barrado - Country Suite for Couples. The project gains personality by mixing classic pieces with trends and bringing in elements that refer to the contemporary while also representing history. The choice of an iron bed highlights the romantic side; the cotton rug highlights the preference for natural materials. The use of noble textures, such as the linen of the linen, combines with the rusticity and elegance of the leather. And the wood gives a feeling of coziness, reinforced by the light tones and indirect lighting. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Cris Capanema and Matheus Vilela - Café Sunset. The interior designer is from Belo Horizonte, but was captivated by the beautiful sunset in Ribeirão Preto – it was inspired by this classic late afternoon scene that the duo created Sunset Café: a large portico welcomes guests into a modern and cozy environment, a feeling that comes mainly from the use of warm and earthy tones. Sophistication is evident in the quartzite and the landscaping project that includes noble plants. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Frezza & Figueiredo Arquitetura e Interiores - Casa Elos. With the aim of building a large living area for delightful gatherings, good conversations, laughter and lots of excitement, the professionals invested in the coziness that shines through carefully chosen elements, such as the wooden furniture, the vinyl ceiling, the slabs on the floor and the laminates that cover the walls – all in harmony with the classic materials such as stones, fabrics and natural fibers that make up the project. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Sérgio Coelho and Daniel Sampaio - Adega Office. Art, wines, work. By imagining a character who values these three themes, the professionals began to design a personalized space for him. In the end, this process gave rise to a contemporary, minimalist home office. A unique place marked by masculine references, the presence of works of art and, above all, by awakening feelings of comfort and well-being. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Rafael Granero and Ana Lívia Mafra - Berber Cuisine. The space aims to rescue the roots of the past and convey the resilience of a people. “The Berbers are a people known for their great journeys through the desert and who continued in groups despite adversity,” explains Rafael. In this context, the kitchen appears as an oasis for gatherings: a place to eat, drink and celebrate in the company of loved ones. The space features lots of vegetation, stone cladding, beige and terracotta tones, muxarabi panels and rattan furniture. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - studio AR interiors - Living Natural. This refuge is an environment that welcomes and embraces. Monochromatic tones are the main reason for the light atmosphere that exists in Luiz Alvarenga and Thiago Rodrigues' living room. For both, the balance and harmony expected from an environment with this concept are also the result of two other essential choices: the textures and coverings that refer to the natural and the Natural Chestnut tone of the furniture, which appears exclusively in the space. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Fabiana Villegas and Gabriela Vilarrubia - Studio do Palestrante. For professionals with a routine full of virtual meetings, the professionals created a modern, efficient and welcoming home office. To achieve this, they invested in textures and finishes that convey comfort and opted for a mix of technology and design. The automation of the lights and air conditioning ensures practicality and the windows allow the entry of natural light and ventilation. With an original design, the imposing lamp has pendants with adjustable height and transparent crystal tips. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Mônica Costa Landscaping - Praça do Abraço. The landscaper used references from rooftops she visited in cities such as Copenhagen and Amsterdam: the neutral colors of the floor and furniture create a calming atmosphere while also making room for the green of trees, shrubs and palm trees to dominate. In the composition of tropical foliage, an essential characteristic of Mônica's projects, her preference for guaimbê, a native Brazilian shrub, is clear. The draining floor is customized, as is the furniture. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Roberta Alonso and Mariana Oliveira - Espaço Viver Bem Perplan. Living well here means having a comfortable place at your disposal, with spaces connected by straight and fluid lines, and a cozy, sophisticated and functional interior design. The choice for natural elements, which is evident in the use of wood, stone and the vertical garden, is striking. “Nature is highlighted in the project, making the environment more welcoming and lively”, explain the professionals. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - Manarelli Guimarães - Gourmet Granary. A place to welcome friends in a relaxed way. A compact space to enhance integration, but equipped with everything you would expect from a complete gourmet area. To this concept, the duo of professionals combines the idea of the barn – the place on the farm where food is stored. And they create this ambience with elements such as the personalized art collection, black hardware, muxarabi closures, tones of wood, wine, navy and a bold baby blue. (Divulgação)
/30 - EFC Arquitetura - Soleil Home Office Space. The final design of the space was based on the desire to propose something that would alleviate the hot climate of Ribeirão Preto. The brise-soleil was used as the main element in the architecture. Automated, it moves according to the sun, providing thermal comfort without losing natural light. To integrate the living room, office, café, research area and toilet, architect Eduardo Franco Correia opted for a mix of furniture and art objects from various periods in the history of design. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Atto Interiores - Agro Home Office. The themed home office is focused on agribusiness professionals. Inspired by the strength of this market in the Ribeirão Preto region, the interior designer created a compact space: at first glance, the panels that add depth and transport you to the cornfield catch your eye. Comfort comes from the neutral color palette, the choice of coverings, the lighting and even the small deck, perfect for moments of relaxation. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - Marcela Tiraboschi - Ballet Dancer's Studio. As versatile as a ballerina's movements. This is the project, an environment designed for art, dance practice and necessary moments of reflection. Like a gallery, photos and paintings mark important scenes in the life of this young adult ballerina who uses ballet as a refuge, pleasure and release from everyday life. “The inspiration came from my own routine. Dance is my point of peace, when I can reflect and get inspired”, says the professional. The canvas of ballet shoes developed by the architect herself reflects an attractive play of colors and textures. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Taiza Moiteiro - Player's Suite. When idealizing a refuge for an athlete's moments of rest, the professional created a sophisticated and welcoming suite, with spaces integrated in a practical and functional way. The wood that covers the walls conveys comfort and gives personality, reinforced by the shades of gray and black that appear in the project. The references also reveal who the “owner” of the space is and, not surprisingly, his inspiration: super-champion goalkeeper Diego Alves, who became an idol in Spain and Flamengo, after starting his career in Ribeirão Preto. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Mario Cioneck II - Sensory Washroom. Lightness is the word that defines the project: it comes from the intentional absence of elements, which here give way to sensations. To awaken them, the architect proposes a pebble floor, an exclusive aroma and monochromatic tones. And he integrates the space with a private garden, which provides balance and comfort. “With an intimate concept, we propose the deconstruction of this 'black box' to the open through the connection between the user and the landscaping, the natural light”, he defines. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - FC Studio - Terrace Bathroom. To create a functional environment during the pandemic, Minas Gerais natives Carla Ferreira and Maycon Costa sought out their roots – and technology. With a focus on safety, they present the Deca line of touchless faucets and toilets as solutions, as well as natural ventilation and lighting provided by reclaimed wood cobogós. The use of drywall and steel frames in the project demonstrates their concern for sustainability. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - Gustavo Dias and Patrícia Makhoul - Wine Bar. To create the experience of enjoying a glass of wine without the feeling of insecurity that a closed environment can cause, lots of natural light and ventilation appear here, as well as an outdoor lounge – the curved lines are inspired by the wine bottle. Another highlight is the welcoming atmosphere that comes from the delicacy of the porcelain tiles, plants and wooden coverings. “The aromas, the textures, the music, everything was designed to make the visitor feel at home”, they explain. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Pajaro Arquitetura - Facade. The architect and urban planner combined elements to welcome visitors, with overlaps of different raw materials and contrasts between angles and shapes, metallic structures and exposed concrete. References include porcelain tiles, metallic paints, drainage floors and acrylic textures of natural stones. In the landscaping, Vietnamese vases and a water mirror give balance to the space, which also has LED lighting and ambient sound. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - QOZ Architects - Eido Bathroom. The term Eido is used in Portuguese villages to describe an open space, of small proportions, attached to the main house. For the office, this symbolism takes us back in time: innovation appears with the union of two volumes, one curved and the other rectangular. Among them, the pergola gives rise to the play of light and shadow – an element that favors integration with the external area. The clean architecture is also marked by the balanced composition of tones and textures, which provides a unique language to the space. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Renato Marajó and Glendha Luz - Jewelry Studio. From the loom frame to the coverings designed by jewelry designer Antônio Bernardo, from the natural wood countertop to the floor lamp designed by Cris Bertolucci, the diversity of elements sets the tone in this space inspired by a jewelry boutique, where professionals can find inspiration, create and sell their pieces. “It is a contemplation of the work of the artisan, their way of creating, their technique and all the sophistication that involves the world of designing exclusive pieces”, they explain. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Sarita Ávila - Mediterranean Balcony. To create a refuge within her own home, Sarita sought inspiration from the Mediterranean and chose elements that could convey the feeling of being in front of the sea – such as contact with the water and the sand-colored flooring. Amidst this tranquility, there is a gourmet area for family cooking, and a table where everyone eats together and enjoys unique moments. The landscaping reinforces the idea of welcoming. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - studio AR interiores - Natural Lavatory. The idea here is to create a feeling of relaxation. In this classic and sophisticated space, the calm is the result of the composition between the organic and volumetric coverings and the light tones, leaning towards white and pastel. The contrast appears in the Red Gold metals by Deca – at first glance, they are what catch the attention of those who enter. “Europe is one of the main sources of inspiration for our work. History, style, every corner brings references that lead us to create unique environments like this one”. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Cacau Ribeiro Interiores - Arauco Restaurant. Encouraging the long-awaited post-pandemic coexistence was the inspiration for the professional to create a space that refers to simplicity, craftsmanship, and a return to origins. These concepts are revealed through the composition of colors, textures, and coverings. And through a careful curation of elements such as hand-embroidered pieces, weaves, straw pendants, and paper roll sconces developed by the designer in partnership with Roberta Faustini – a set that provides cozy lighting. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - Priscila Mortare - Contemporary Minas Gerais Balcony. A reinterpretation of Minas Gerais culture. This is the proposal of the professional, who combines classic elements in her contemporary space. There is a large table, spices, and crafts – items that reflect customs and are part of typical regional cuisine. Earthy tones and wood provide a welcoming atmosphere, and the small vegetable garden adds to the ambiance. A must-have in traditional Minas Gerais kitchens, the wood-burning stove is remodeled and eco-friendly. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - Rafael Bressan - SPA Marrakesh. This space is designed to provide relaxation and tranquility. The space also serves as inspiration for how to create a sophisticated hotel-style ambiance in your own home. It is inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Morocco and features pieces such as golden faucets, classic wall lights and hand-painted tiles. The coziness is provided by the earthy colors and the sophistication is evident, among other references, in the choice of the Missoni fabric line. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Giovanna Pitondo - Living of Affection. The professional debuts at the exhibition with a space full of elements that refer to conviviality, to our private universe. “It’s a real refuge to rediscover yourself,” he explains. With 38 m², the space features furniture that invites you to stay and natural textures, such as wood and stones. The idea is to resume using the living room as an inviting space for family meetings, reading moments or to enjoy good wines and coffees. There is a careful choice of furniture and warm colors, as well as a ceiling designed with reused materials. (Felipe Araujo)
/30 - Quintino Facci Arquitetos - House of the Collector of Moments. The inspiration is a strong and affectionate female figure. A special woman revealed in the photography by Casa4art, the focal point of the project. “The layout came from the abstraction of the letter W, the initial of this woman. We brought in feminine curves and wood to create the warmth of affection, simplicity and lightness,” he says. On the wall, an installation features 47 photographs of leaves. “It refers to our own lives, indicating that nothing is linear. Each leaf has its own line, its own story,” he explains. (Felipe Araújo)
/30 - Marina Donato - Living Room for Reception. Connection is the key word in this living room: with two parallel and open facades, the professional created a clean and minimalist environment. The diagonal layout allows for fluid circulation, without noise. “My inspiration was the air of lightness, well-being and comfort that we find inside our homes”. White and off-white backgrounds highlight the furniture, textures and fundamental elements – such as the three-dimensional artwork by Daniel Paschoalin and the pendant that gives shape to the home office.
