The duo Fábio Motta and Maurício Arruda , from Todos Arquitetura , are back at CASACOR São Paulo ! In partnership with Duratex , Casa ETÉ is a 150 m2 space that celebrates the reunion with these moments, after years of isolation and silence. inside the house.

"Dragging the chairs to accommodate the whole family, throwing the sofa cushions on the living room floor, cooking and receiving friends [...] These are the types of emotional connections we are used to in a real Brazilian home ", they express. Fabio Mota and Mauricio Arruda.

The space reveals aspects of genuinely Brazilian homes, with architectural and decorative elements that directly refer to the country houses we remember, with all their informality, colors, diversity and solutions.

“Home is a house with emotion , it is human, it pulses, it feels, it ages, it bears the marks of time, just like each one of us”, comments Maurício Arruda.

The project also features sustainability through the Steel Frame system, a technology with low environmental impact and little waste generation during assembly.

The professionals decided to raise the entire structure so that the living room could have an area for the Sunken Sofa , a feature widely used in the 1970s , where the sofa is lowered and makes the visitor submerge into the floor, allowing for a more immersive experience . informal and welcoming.
This is a 100% Brazilian design house, including furniture, lighting, rugs and fabrics.

The selection of artworks, made by curator Beta Germano , follows the guiding thread of this Brazilianness and brings to the space a selection of talents from the current scene: Zanini de Zanine, Juliana Vasconcelos, Estúdio RAIN, Lucas Recchia, Michel Arnout, Estúdio Alva and Guilherme Wentz are just some of the names present in the space.
