A timeless ode to family , which materializes everyday well-being in a
sensory experience that explores the fullness of integrated environments: it was with this premise that architect
William Hanna designed
Casa Cosentino at
CASACOR Goiás 2023 . The project focuses on
elements that go beyond the obvious without leaving simplicity aside, aiming for light and cozy spaces with rectangular
layouts that
enhance the idea of a home , stimulate family life and encourage the public to feel the surfaces.

The appreciation of everyday life through the sensitive gaze of architect William Hanna is made explicit with the display of the phrase “
Home Is Love That Lives ”, giving life to the theme of this edition of CASACOR: “
Body & Home ”. The project highlights Dekton® and values
aesthetics and functionality in a harmonious way, since the material is available in a wide range of applications, including floors, steps, walls, entrance panels, tables, countertops and cabinets, demonstrating the
versatility and
durability of the product , which is resistant to abrasion, scratches, impacts and water.
The highlight is the central table in Dekton® Ceppo, from the Pietra Kode Collection, providing an
ideal place for meals and social gatherings . The product, which reinterprets the classic beauty of Italian Ceppo di Gré marble, with gray and blue tones, also covers the entrance panel of the space. Casa Cosentino also uses Dekton® Kreta, from the Industrial Collection, on the floor, steps and walls. The application is inspired by classic cement floors, with moderate movement, a matte texture and a grey tone.
William Hanna says that the project exalts Dekton® in a poetic way, highlighting exuberant applications and darker tones. “I imagine the public
being attracted by the visual artifact , so that they can gradually discover the environment. I want to encourage them to understand the macro of the project. We use
large formats not only to enhance the space itself, but also to
highlight the works that gradually fit in unison with the materiality of the space. We could have worked with the light and soft beige, but I see that Dekton®️ is a robust surface.
In addition, I love black and gray . So we worked with these tones and with
subtle golden dots combined with elements that add value, such as micro gold sculptures”, he explained.

According to the architect, the concept of
integration stands out thanks to the
layout chosen for the project. “I avoided the organic idea and curved features because I understood that they wouldn’t add value. With that in mind, I thought of an island and a rectangular table and placed the sofa in a configuration that
allows for dialogue between those in the kitchen and those in the living room ,” he emphasizes.
