The Casa Cor by Duratex store at
Casa Cor São Paulo 2015 was designed by Maurício Arruda, who had the challenge of bringing only Brazilian design and craftsmanship to the space. To achieve this, the professional had the curatorship of Zizi Carderari, a specialist in contemporary Brazilian design and craftsmanship. The commercial space had pieces for sale, which also functioned as part of the place's decor. The architect was inspired by indigenous basketwork and used Marcas do Tempo by Casa Claudia coverings, mixing two tones of laminate flooring on the ceiling, floor and walls. And to bring back a bit of the Jockey's history, a green covering was used, reminiscent of the old window frames of the show's headquarters.
