Visual elements, aromas, textures and sounds: everything can be used to create a space of sensations. This year,
CASA COR Paraná presents creative environments that evoke the pleasant and convey the feeling of homeliness. From the use of fragrances to 3D wallpaper, the professionals at the show demonstrate how different perceptions help to create spaces with personality.
The
Family Living Room was designed by architect Carla Grüdtner to follow an intimate and contemporary style. Designed with straight and simple lines, the space provides a welcoming feeling, which is made possible by the mix of wood, special fabrics in pastel tones and the fireplace that brings the family together. Special fabrics, such as 3D wallpaper and leather, are the highlight of this sensory space. The composition of these special materials aims to explore touch and create a pleasant look for the living area. To establish coherence with the texture of the wall, Carla Grüdtner placed the noble leather sofa by Natuzzi, from Ton Sur Ton, in the space, which, in addition to being a differential for touch, can stimulate the sense of smell of those who prefer the smell of the material.
Another space that integrates sensations is the
Couple's Private Home , designed by architect Mariana Paula Souza. To prioritize comfort and functionality, the professional invested in the use of functional items – such as a central vacuum cleaner and heated floors – and in the trend of mixing textures in neutral tones. To stimulate touch, Mariana used the right amount of leather on the wall, paper on the ceiling and velvet around the wall that received the neolith. “It is the mixture of four coverings, only in the same tone, that provide four different sensations”, highlights the architect. In addition to the tactile sense, there was concern about preserving pleasant sounds, which was made possible by improving the acoustics through the lowered drywall ceiling.
The
home office of interior designer Larissa Gomes was designed as an immersive environment with a unique sensory experience. The professional's choice to use natural wood veneer reflects her intention to create a unique visual experience, due to the noble nature of the material. To create a space with personality, the professional also chose to stimulate the public's other senses through a fragrance – chosen from among 100 other essences tested by the designer – and a
playlist of songs created exclusively for the home office. Regarding the materials and compositions that help create a sensory space, the professional also highlights the importance of using objects that bring back good memories for the resident in the décor: “Respecting the client's life story and maintaining what is important to them within the project creates a unique sensory atmosphere. Pure emotion!”
