Right at the entrance to CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2024 , the Ikigai environment surprises and excites with a work of art that is pure delicacy and symbolism. Designed by architects Yuri Bini and Daniela Kumagai , the space features a maxi embroidery panel , created by artist Renata Barreto , which symbolizes the union of Japanese and Brazilian cultures. Hand-embroidered on a 20 m² canvas , the design unites the cherry tree, symbol of Japan, and the araucaria, icon of Southern Brazil , representing the essence of Ikigai which, in Japanese culture, means “purpose of life”.

The Ikigai environment is enchanting not only for its visual impact, but also for the way in which craftsmanship connects with people . The union of the Japandi aesthetic , which blends Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian comfort, with the unique touch of handmade craftsmanship, makes this space a welcoming and memorable experience. In every detail, the professionals' quest to create an environment full of soul and meaning is clear, leading to reflections on the frenetic way of living without stopping to notice the small details .
