Organic and futuristic, the 110 m² Arca House, designed by Marko Brajovic, has a form inspired by nature and displays technological materials that contrast with the green surroundings of Serra da Bocaina, in the municipality of Paraty, in Rio de Janeiro. “Transported in a pickup truck, minimizing energy consumption, the modules (composed of steel, aluminum and zinc) of the roof were assembled in just two weeks. The house can be disassembled in a week and taken to another location. This makes it a nomadic structure. If I get tired of it here, I'll assemble it on another piece of land. It's ideal for the current generation, which is nomadic", explains the professional.

Atibaia, Sao Paulo

Cool in summer and warm in winter, thanks to a green roof that naturally ensures thermal comfort. In the kitchen, a vegetable garden is available to provide herbs and flavors at your fingertips. Rainwater is collected for external taps and treated by biodigesters.

The eco-friendly cabin is compact – 45 m² – and is the first of its kind in Brazil, built with a prefabricated system called MINIMOD and developed by MAPA Architects. There is another MINIMOD with a different layout that can be seen on the access road to this MINIMOD. In addition, the construction is very comfortable, perfect for a couple who wanted to connect with nature. The house is sustainable with a solar energy system, hot water and a gas stove (two burners). The property has 5 hectares and has a forest with trails that lead to a private lake.

Built on top of a jackfruit tree, this house does not use nails or cement. It is airy and has a privileged view of the sea and the Atlantic Forest.
