I am a fan of Belgian design. I think they value their designers, I think they care about new technologies and this year they have shown that they are even more in tune with the times. Within the concept that we are calling the New Dramaturgy of Design ( watch the talk that took place at the invitation of ABD this week ), they invited 13 designers who worked collaboratively with companies - not necessarily from the design segment. The process of reciprocal learning, the focus on new manufacturing and the emphasis on realization can be observed in the pieces made for the Belgian Matters exhibition, presented at Belgium is Design, at Palazzo Litta, during Fuori Salone 2016.
