CASACOR Rio will feature an unprecedented new feature in the 2023 edition: the first marketplace in Brazil with innovative products and services for the architecture and decoration market, serving customers, retailers and professionals in the area, will be launched at the show, which runs until October 15.
Houseus , which is part of the
Ribus ecosystem, opens its doors to the market with the
Casa Cubo project, designed by architects
Sophia Abraham and João Almand . The space is a mirrored cube camouflaged amidst the vegetation of the
Brando Barbosa Residence , in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood.

The platform provides a complete experience for those who need access to the best products for their property, whether for the owner, investor or resident. “With a 'one stop shop' marketplace, Houseus offers a buying and selling channel where users can carry out transactions safely and find everything they need for their project, including suppliers and products, specialized professionals and the benefit of cashback in Ribus Tokens,” says
Marcelo Magalhães , CEO of Ribus.

The space will also host recordings of the show's official podcast channel, "
Papo ao Cubo ", which will feature interviews with industry professionals, guests, influencers and celebrities, as well as an outdoor lounge for events and networking. The idea behind the space is to create cross-media between a consolidated and traditional brand like CASACOR and digital channels that broadcast videocasts in real time inside the show and directly from Cubo.
The show's official podcast airs every Tuesday and Thursday and already has some confirmed appearances, such as actor Paulo Lessa, former gymnast Daniele Hypolito, businesswoman Anny Meisler, as well as industry professionals such as the architects who created Casa Cubo, Sophia Abraham and João Almand, and landscaper Ana Veras and architects Felipe Mazoni and Patricia Ieno. https://www.instagram.com/p/CwGYCVrpkk_/?img_index=5 The
Cubo House is entirely covered in smart reflective glass, an innovative technology that can alternate between transparent and opaque through an electrical impulse, providing privacy when necessary, and even a screen for projecting images and videos. During the recording of the podcast, the glass will be translucent so that visitors can observe, while during the visitation period, the glass will be completely reflective, blending in with the surrounding vegetation. “The living room will be the podcast ‘Papo ao Cubo’, taking advantage of one of the main forms of information and entertainment consumption in the world today. In addition to providing a new platform for the CASACOR exhibition, we will also generate content that was previously little explored, but is undoubtedly of great interest: the details, curiosities and creative process behind the spaces, as well as the professionals involved. We brought a different layout from the conventional formats (with a table). In our environment, the podcast will take place in a living room... with a sofa and armchairs, cozy and sophisticated. In addition to these differences above, we cannot fail to highlight the glass, the star of the space”, concludes architect
Sophia Abraham .
