The
landscaping project was carried out in parallel with the complete renovation of the property, meeting the owners' desire to make the roof as private as possible, through partitions and lots of plants. The planters were all designed and marked in the project, and were executed during the renovation. reform. “
We wanted to enclose all the exposed areas with green partitions, so we used a lot of hedges ,” says Anna Luiza. Since it is a covering, all the planters were assembled with plastic containers or fiberglass molds, depending on the needs of each space.

As the residents greatly enjoy the outdoors, one of the main concepts of the project was to bring the greenery from outside into the apartment, to make it feel like home. As for the choice of species, Anna Luiza considered harmony between architecture and landscaping, local climatic conditions, such as exposure to the effects of wind and sea spray, in addition to the taste of the residents.

The landscaping project focuses mainly on two areas: the terrace and the second-floor
balcony , which is integrated into the living room. In this area, the planters were specified during the construction, closing off the sides to provide privacy from neighboring buildings. In them, plants were planted
rhapis excelsa, pleomelles variegata, dracenas cordyline and pittosporum variegatum . Both are located in front of loopholes, windows with fixed glass that provide greater light to the interiors, creating true living pictures with the vegetation. To complement the look, vases with
dracaena fragrans and orchids of various species are placed on the coffee table. Behind the sofa, two
bougainvilleas guided by
bamboo stems will grow and intertwine, creating a green curtain.

On the roof, the landscaping begins with the integration between the living room and the terrace, with a corten steel planter on the wall, with
hibiscus variegata and convolvulus mauritanicus , creating a hedge that will continue the highest part of the wall. The section frames the view of Dois Irmãos hill.

Perpendicular to the Coletivo Muda tile panel, another masonry planter, covered in wood, was created to visually reduce the height of a smaller planter behind the fence, which surrounds the building's ventilation prism. There,
red acalypha were planted, philodendron ondulatum and jasminum . Finally, close to the wall on the right, a flowerbed was created, lined with fiberglass molded to the measurements of the cutout, which received
pleomeles reflexa, clusias variegata and peperomias variegata .
