Next Saturday, March 6th , starting at 1 pm, the Women's Festival will take place , an event full of activities, promoted by the Fazendinhando Movement , in Jardim Colombo , West Zone of São Paulo.
The festival will feature activities such as painting two of Colombo's staircases, the sale of honey bread produced by the Farmers, as well as an in-person class on the tile course , which seeks to train women from the community in the area of civil construction .
The second exhibition will also be inaugurated at Container Fazendinhando , the result of Janelas CASACOR São Paulo and a reference point in the community for workshops and lectures that raise questions about sustainability, social responsibility, health and the empowerment of minority groups. “The Gallery is here to bring hope to residents, to show that they are capable , with effort and dedication, of generating change. Everyone can be an agent of change. Everyone can exercise their potential as an agent of change ,” says Ester Carro , architect and urban planner. social who designed the container.In early February, the Fazendinhando Movement held one of its famous cooking classes , where the Farmers prepared a tapioca pudding recipe , with guidance from Haydée Belda . During the class, they used aprons donated by Padaria Beijamim.
Residents of the Jardim Colombo region also had the opportunity to try on and choose some of the luxury pieces from the Schutz store , donated by Orgânico Solidário in partnership with Farfetch Brasil and Projeto Ovo . The action sought to strengthen the interaction between our movement and the community.
Fazendinhando is a movement of physical, cultural and social transformation in Jardim Colombo, West Zone of São Paulo, made by and for the residents , through the recovery of public spaces and art and culture actions aiming at the integration of the community.
Through efficient management and a participatory process, the movement aims to engage, raise awareness, integrate and develop the vibrant community of Jardim Colombo and its surroundings. By training residents, the movement seeks to become self-sustainable .
