Starting this Wednesday, May 20, CASACOR will resume showing the Stúdio Mutante video series on its official YouTube channel . Act II is an initiative and production by curator Gabriela Moraes in partnership with architect Gisele Taranto . In this new chapter, we are led by Rio de Janeiro artist Maria Klabin , who uses her minimalist style to create a universe of sensations. Recorded at Living Mutante - a hybrid environment designed by Gisele Taranto for the 30th edition of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro - the film is part of a series called by Stúdio Mutante, which will be split into two more films starring visual artist Bruno Miguel , on Saturday, May 22, and on Tuesday, May 25, will feature the creative process of Anna Bella Geiger .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cxshZ3md9s In her 15th participation in the Rio de Janeiro exhibition , Gisele Taranto designed a space where everything is – or can be – mutant and changeable. A response to the need – intensified in times of prolonged stay at home – to have flexible spaces that can be easily modified when necessary. Over the two months of CASACOR Rio, there will be three events in the space. In each of them, a different selection of works of art and the rearrangement of the furniture promote a new ambiance . In this context, Stúdio Mutante provides an encounter between architecture, art and thought with recorded meetings published in series format. CASACOR Rio will be open until May 9th and will feature 57 professionals , including architects, interior designers and landscapers. There are 38 spaces set up at the Brando Barbosa Residence.
