Located in the former Hospedaria de Imigrantes facilities in Mooca, the home has been in operation for 24 years and has since taken in more than 62,000 homeless people. In addition to basic services, the institution also offers access to vocational training courses, a medical center, sports courts, games rooms, library, literacy opportunities, social service monitoring and support groups.
Over the past two weeks, most of the institutions that support Arsenal da Esperança have suspended their activities.
