From inside Shopping Iguatemi, it is impossible not to notice a true flavor station entirely built on earthy tones and affective elements. Signed by Ana Paula Guimarães and Thiago Manarelli, from
Manarelli Guimarães Arquitetura , the project is part of
Janelas CASACOR Ribeirão Preto until December 20th.

The
Deca Gourmet Station is the perfect sum of elements so present in the duo's work, such as the off-white and caramel colors, which appear here giving life to the velvet texture of the walls and the slatted paneling of the cabinets. The open and well-ventilated container relies on the presence of nature to stimulate the senses of those who visit it, through aromas, flavors and warm colors.

On the central island, photography by Bahian artist
Claudio Colavolpe is the link in the composition – it is what gives the work its name and brings a reflection on the role of cooking and food in the lives of those who do not have them. The child who observes everything from behind a train carriage brings the simplicity and innocence of a child's gaze that says a lot.
The large and delicate cabinet features details that make the cooking area a true altar – a sacred place for the cook and also a meeting point for the family, whose memories are represented among old recipe books. To find out more about this project, visit
