Bringing
nature into the home is a desire for many. And there is no shortage of ways to achieve this, such as using coverings with welcoming textures, colors and, especially, the presence of elements such as plants and
natural light . In this house, which The interior design is by architect
Gigi Gorennstein , and the
integrated spaces open completely onto the garden. In her project, the architect tried to emphasize the
connection between the interior and the exterior and also to incorporate some of the
residents' emotional memories into the project. "I eliminated excess, opted for furniture with straight lines to convey lightness, and chose a base of
neutral tones. and I used
objects brought back from my travels to add personality to the look”, explains the professional.

The first step towards creating this connection is noticeable as soon as you enter the house: the architect chose a
leafy green tone for the walls that directly refers to nature.

To welcome guests, the architect opted for a cart that holds the home
bar . Stools were positioned in front to accommodate guests.

The balcony is separated from the living room by a
glass door and the vegetation is quite extensive, which guarantees a
stunning view . You can observe nature even while lying on the sofa to relax. On the floor, the
chevron-print rug embraces the environment, ensuring visual unity to the room. The tones of the piece follow the palette of the rest of the
décor .

Surrounded by burgundy chairs, the round table is the place for outdoor coffees. Turquoise blue poufs, made of material suitable for being exposed to the weather, make up a seating area on the draining floor. The garden design is by landscaper
Catê Poli , who created a mix of plants of different sizes, shades of green and textures, such as
wavy philodendron, cigar maranta and straight bamboo-mossô .
