Nildo José is known for creating projects that tell
a part of Brazil's history through their colors and design. And it was this trait of the architect's creative personality that attracted the attention of a
French family that appreciates art and architecture.

The client's wish was to have an original project, full of personality and that combined national and international design pieces. They wanted to take advantage of the
classic European base of the house, which has the
staircase as a large sculptural element , and to enhance the coverings.

The house is divided into
five floors . All of them were designed to meet the needs of all residents (a couple and three teenage children). "
It was a very enriching job to do , as we worked with a family that greatly appreciated our architecture, as well as our great designers/artists of Brazilian pieces", said Nildo.
Necessary reforms

The
house was old and needed some care beyond the interior design. All the electrical and plumbing systems needed restoration.
The
layout was mostly preserved – only a few
rooms were integrated and a new
distribution of the kitchen and bathrooms was designed.
European decor with a Brazilian twist
The architect explained that the house in Paris presented an extraordinary opportunity to
explore European coverings , which end up not gaining as much popularity in Brazil due to their high cost.

The
European oak floor and Italian marble stones are examples of sophisticated materials that brought elegance to the residence.

All bedrooms feature
original bed designs. In the master suite, Nildo opted for a large
leather-covered bed and two armchairs in front to make the most of the space. A fireplace that was already in the house was preserved for colder days.

For the couple's daughter's room, a
home office was installed on the balcony, which was completely enclosed, which guaranteed a
space for concentration and a pleasant view of the outside.
