When architects get together to design a space, they imagine everything from the floor to the carpets, including the carpentry, ceiling, lighting and curtains. The artwork and other objects that will make up the decor are also their mission, and they do a real
job of searching for the right items. among the main galleries in the country so that the project is even better than imagined. In the case of the
Suna Reveev Room , designed by
OSA Arquitetos Associados at the invitation of Reveev Colchões for
CASACOR Santa Catarina 2021 , the number of finds is grand. They contribute to the objective of the environment: to be
inspiring, light and intimate at the same time. which is full of personality . Check out below a selection of the main highlights full of history from the Suna Reveev Room:
Organic Bed
Produced by Reveev, the
Organic Bed is multifunctional and technological and was
designed to also be a bedside table, a seat for putting on shoes and a mat for meditation . It is also equipped with sensory lighting, a built-in sound system, an induction cell phone charger and USB inputs. . The technology also extends to the Asti ViscoGel Superplush mattress, produced with carbon threads that remove static energy from the body and
help relieve stress , ensuring a night's sleep with absolute relaxation. With rounded, fluid lines and plush fabric that recall the essential forms of nature, it has a total length of 3 meters.
Horned Chair
An iconic piece designed by the great master of Brazilian design Sérgio Rodrigues in 1962, the
Chifruda Chair is made of solid rosewood and leather and draws attention to its Nordic shape that resembles horns. The piece is numbered (no. 17 of 30) and belongs to a collector. . It was loaned especially for the Suna Reveev Room in this exhibition.
Fishing Chair No. 24
Object made of solid wood (Grápia) rescued from a boat on the banks of the Itajaí-açu River, the
Fishing Chair No. 24 , by Elaya Design, has a seat and backrest made with reused rope from a fishing shipyard in Itajaí and details in old leather.
Beige armchair
Also a work by Sérgio Rodrigues, the
Beg Chair was originally created for the meeting table of the Banco do Estado da Guanabara in 1967 and was relaunched in 2005. Made of wood and with an upholstered seat and back, it is extremely comfortable. Two units of the armchairs are in the room, and are in the dining space, together with the Bell table.
Table necklaces
Table necklaces made from wooden trunks and other very regional details, as well as acrylic boxes with ropes and knots, are part of the style of young Bahian artists

Mocho Bank
Considered Sérgio Rodrigues' first major work, the
Mocho bench was produced by OCA in 1954. In 2014, to celebrate Rodrigues' 60th anniversary of design, a numbered edition of 60 pieces in Cabreúva wood was launched. In the Suna Room, the bench Owl stands in the bathroom, supporting the soaking tub.
Works of art
Another highlight is the work of
Elizabeth Jobim , daughter of the brilliant Tom Jobim,
in linen on linen stitched , which explores the superposition of fabrics on the canvases, which continue to gain different thicknesses and designs to create other constructive planes within the pictorial surface; using linens colorful, incorporates the original textile dye without manipulating the hues.
Ceramics from Serra da Capivara
The 40 ceramic vases that make up the environment are from a
cooperative of artisans from the Serra da Capivara National Park , in Piauí, which is home to more than a thousand archaeological sites and is recognized by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The manufacture of ceramics complies with
environmental licensing and sustainability standards, in addition to employing around 30 artisans, former park employees, now excellent ceramists.

Mestra Irineia , from Alagoas, a descendant of slaves who uses her manual art as a way to expand her art throughout Brazil and even the world, all made in clay ovens. Rustic ceramic vases in raw color with irregular or unfinished shapes, and even details painted in black are a specialty of
Studio Num in São Paulo, run by artisan
Natália Uchoa who imprints a detail of her personality on each piece.
