With a fun language, vibrant colors appear to take away from the obvious 25 environments at CASACOR 2019. Shades of blue appear to predominate, followed by other primary tones such as red and green. In living rooms, kitchens, lounges and bedrooms, strong tones redefine any space with ease. Check it out in the gallery!
NAOMI ABE

01/25 - CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Living Room for the Collector - Naomi Abe. A passion for art, design and architecture inspired the “Living Room for the Collector”, an entrance space in the shape of a minimalist and monochromatic cube made of green hydraulic tiles. Works by Niura Bellavinha, Flavio Cerqueira and Marcia Pastore are displayed throughout the space. On the ceiling, Naomi designed a circular illuminated path connecting the entrance and the living room, inspired by the modernist architecture of the 1950s. Other works that deserve to be highlighted are the painting Mulata by Di Cavalcanti, the contemporary neon art of the Spanish artist Ivan Navarro and a sculpture by Tunga. (Romulo Fialdini)

02/25 - CASACOR Peru 2019. Living Room - Priscilla Bandy. Natural light and plants meet the wood paneling to create a warm and tropical space. Vibrant colors, design and contemporary art contrast with the simple architecture of the house, resulting in an eclectic and charming atmosphere. (Ivan Pestana)

03/25 - CASACOR Peru 2019. El Oráculo de la Diseñadora - Diana Sánchez and Estefani Cano. The artistic creation space is interpreted as a sacred place with its own rituals. The color palette comes in dramatic and experimental brushstrokes. The arches that mark the architecture of the mansion are given a bold reinterpretation in the painting and in the false symmetry that plays with the classical style. (Amauri Valls)

b_Paula-Neder-and-Collective-PN+--HUM-Studio-for-Leroy-Merlin-004

04/25 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019. HUM Studio for Leroy Merlin - Paula Neder and Coletivo PN+. The space is designed for a naturally chic and laid-back chef, who lives close to the sea. Here, the high-low concept guides the mix of sophisticated pieces with affordable items. The lighting is simple and efficient, the coverings are easy to maintain and there are low-cost creative solutions throughout the space, without giving up on designer furniture. The artistic painting that takes over the ceiling and walls sums up the color palette of the project. (André Nazareth)

bLeo-Roman-–-Leo-Club-001

05/25 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019. Leo Club - Leo Romano. In his first participation in CASACOR Rio, the architect brings his interpretation of blue and green, considered the colors of Rio de Janeiro. They predominate in different tones, defining scenes with references to Leo's childhood and imagination. The contemporary furniture includes furniture by the Campana brothers and pieces from Romano's collections. Not to mention the Mole armchair, a classic by Sérgio Rodrigues in a color never seen before. (André Nazareth)

RJ-Jorge-Delmas-–-House-of-Good-003(1)

06/25 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019. Casa do Bem - Jorge Delmas. The contemporary loft captures the eye with deep blue and furniture without excess. On the walls, an exhibition of photographs by Beto Gatti. Another attraction of the project is the structure. It was built in just four days and, in total, the 145 m² took just over a month to complete. The dry and clean method used metal parts with drywall walls and a cement board covering. Leila Bittencourt_Loft Coral #Co.living_casacor-rio-2019-andre-nazareth

07/25 - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019. Loft Coral #Co.living - Leila Bittencourt. Good design, color and humor, in this space to hang out. With an open plan and furniture that can be grouped in different ways, this room could be in a single-family home, multi-family home or co-living. Another detail is the way the architect took advantage of and redefined original elements of the building, such as beams and pipes. (André Nazareth)

06_books'n-art-gabriela-herde-casacor-balneario-camboriu-2019-photo-lio-simas

08/25 - CASACOR Santa Catarina | Balneário Camboriú 2019. Books'N Art - Gabriela Herde. This library is home to good books, works by local artists and a proposal for sensorial architecture. With an attractive and energetic tone, the carpentry organizes and displays all the elements. The idea is to reflect on the importance of keeping culture alive. (Lio Simas)

04 - URBAN HOUSE - SERGIO PAULO RABELLO

09/25 - CASACOR Espírito Santo 2019. Urban House - Sergio Paulo Rabello. The 110 m² house houses a living room, bedroom, bathroom and hall. Everything was built with beams, pillars and metal alloy tiles reused from a steel mill. Large slabs of translucent marble serve as cladding and illuminate the walls. A crane helped with the task of arranging the material, sheet by sheet, in the property. All the wood used in the ceiling lining and carpentry is also reused, while the glass is 100% recyclable. CASACOR_MIAMI_2019_Alex_Tate_Design_B4_041-HDR-Edit_FULL-RES

10/25 - CASACOR Miami 2019. Tarantino Meets Kubrick - Mr. Alex Tate Design. The 1970s and cinema were Alex Tate’s two main inspirations when creating this space. Having worked for many years in Hollywood, the interior designer looked to two of his favorite directors, Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick, to create the bright color palette, featuring gold, yellow, orange, and touches of platinum, red, and dark blue. The hues can be seen on the cushions, armchairs, walls, and even the ceiling. As the studio’s signature style is approached through the lens of Modern Victorian (ModVic), the project’s eclectic look combines vintage and contemporary in a whimsical way. (Kris Tamburello)

more than a cellar5

11/25 - CASACOR Paraguay 2019. More than Una Cava - Jessica Castillo. The architect imagined a space where, at the end of the day, it is possible to forget your worries and enjoy the present. The space is warmed by the shade of green, which runs throughout the decoration. Materials extracted from nature, such as wood, quartz and metals, were essential for the composition of the space. (Negib Giha)

12/25 - CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Balcony Palm Springs - Jean de Just. Designed by Jean de Just to be a multipurpose place, the Balcony Palm Springs references the architecture of the American city in the 50s and 60s with touches of Brazilianness. The architect was also inspired by Luis Barragán's projects, from which he brought the features and the Klein blue wall. The landscaping is designed by Marianne Valent Ramos. (Divulgação)

13/25 - CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019. Tri Suave Lavatory - Marilia Zimmermman. The starting point came from the architecture of the historic building, with its sequential arched balconies, mentioned in the mirrors in the room. Another inspiration came from the favorite colors of the year, which star in the space. The lighting plays the role of bringing movement and depth. Note the floor with small porcelain pieces in six shades, from the JoyMz collection, designed by the architect. (Cristiano Bauce)

14/25 - CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019. Studio Slim - Daniel Wilges. The monochromatic scheme surprises in the 50 m² studio, with velvety textured walls. The concise and linear design, as well as the transparency of the glass, softens the presence of the professional's characteristic materials: burnt cement, rocks and natural wood on the floor. (Cristiano Bauce)

Ney-Lima-CCCE

15/25 - CASACOR Ceará 2019. Sertão Grego - Ney Filho. The design of the space, where the Zoi restaurant at Colosso Fortaleza operates, was based on an astral journey to a world where Greece and the Ceará backlands formed a single land. In this mix, mythology, fauna, flora and architecture make an unusual and happy combination. Where do myths come from? What are their origins? Will the backlands become the sea, and could this sea be the Mediterranean? In dreams, anything is possible. A perfect space to eat, drink and be happy. The panels are the points to be observed most carefully. In them, you can see the entire design of the environment. (Divulgação)

Bahia-Brotherhood-Hall-–-Stephanie-Mattos

16/25 - CASACOR Bahia 2019. Brotherhood Room – Stephanie Mattos. Architect and interior designer Stephanie Mattos reproduced the feeling of being in a fraternity of good friends, good conversation and good wine in an environment full of art and comfort. The photographs, Almandrade's canvases and sculptures were specially chosen to enhance the space. The color of the boiserie and the textures leave the environment harmonious and sophisticated, ready to generate good memories and celebrate special moments with friends and family. (Marcelo Negromonte)

Coral Kitchen_Regina Amaral

17/25 - CASACOR Goiás 2019. Coral Kitchen – Regina Amaral. The coral tone is sure to whet guests’ appetites and bring liveliness to the 53 m² space, drawing attention to the ceiling and carpentry details, which are a highlight of the space. The island centralizes several functions, leaving circulation free. (Jomar Bragança)

24 -Office1_Eduardo Macarios

18/25 - CASACOR Paraná 2019. Young Family Residential Office - Flávia Mattar. The designer was inspired by Garcia Lorca's poem, “Verde que te quer verde”, to explore various shades of color in this 36 m² refuge. Light wood trellises frame the large bookcase. The loose 19th century furniture came from Arnaldo Danemberg's antique shop. (Eduardo Macarios)

1--Pedro-Lazaro_CCSP

19/25 - CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Coral Hotel - Pedro Lázaro. The Coral Hotel concept is similar to smart design hotels that around the world offer specific and innovative experiences for people who see their own lifestyle in this content. It opens with a lobby and then a master suite. An intervention of bird sculptures on the façade of the historic Jockey building signals and positions the brand within the event. The lobby, with design and objects from Brazilian culture, is an invitation to stay and interact. (Divulgação)

MARCELO-SALUM_LCL4656R

20/25 - CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Tree of Life Loft - Marcelo Salum. Inspired by the film “The Tree of Life”, by director Terrence Malick, the architect sought references in the drama to bring his 107m² loft to life. The search for essence, early learning and the importance of family were the starting points for designing the loft, all reminiscent of the concept of creation. In the entrance hall, visitors come across a tree created especially for the space by visual artist Alexandre Mattos. The color chosen by the professional to work on the space as a whole was yellow, creating an allusion to the sun, since light is essential for the growth of his tree. (Divulgação)

Parana-House-Maldives---Alessandra-Gandolfi

21/25 - CASACOR Paraná 2019. Maldives House - Alessandra Gandolfi. The architect sought references for colors, shapes and textures in the archipelago's landscapes to create a space of connection and refuge. The rugs designed by the architect recall the layers of sand leading to the sea, reflected in the project's blue and green tones. The movement of the waves inspires the parametric wooden panel, composed of 24 slats of different sizes, creating a wavy effect. (Eduardo Macarios)

_Larissa-Lóh-- CC-PR

22/25 - CASACOR Paraná 2019. Young Family Hall and Living Room - Larissa Lóh. The contrast between the plum tone on the slatted panel and the light base draws the eye to the 77 m² space. On the opposite wall, the striking presence of White Paraná marble, from local quarries. The rug is made of Javanese fiber and silk. The space also reveals the eco-luxury concept in the mix of rustic and noble materials, interpreting glass and metal as ancestral elements. Note the terrazzo pieces, produced with waste from other materials. (Divulgação)

53 - Upscale Bar1_Viviane Sonnenstrahl

23/25 - CASACOR Paraná 2019. Upscale Bar - Alessandro Cavalcanti and Ricardo Makhoul. This sunny bar is inspired by the Californian sunset, combining music and architecture in 62 m². Flexible layout and cheerful tones of orange, green and blue make the space inviting. On the floor, gray neutralizes the composition. Highlight for the bar, where laminated wood, colored lacquer, leather, carbon steel and plants alternate. (Viviane Sonnenstrahl)

Bolivia-Men's-Suite-Lagom---Andrea-R.-Añez-and-Brenda-Jiménez

24/25 - CASACOR Bolivia 2019. Lagom Men's Suite - Andrea R. Añez and Brenda Jiménez. The rectilinear joinery warms up, the deep blue calms and the large window lets in the landscape and natural light, which interact with the space. Nordic inspiration governs the balance between materials, automation technology and architectural elements to create the perfect atmosphere of rest and escape. (Alvaro Mier)

Publisher's Lounge - Roberto Pamplona - Photo by Victor Eleutério_VE20360

25/25 - CASACOR Ceará 2019. Publisher's Lounge - Roberto Pamplona Jr. In honor of Adriano Nogueira's 10 years of work as an editor and journalist at the head of Tapis Rouge magazine, the lounge was created to welcome guests and visitors, with a different location: the large living room is under the leafy trees of the place, with their sinuous trunks that look like sculptures. The light metal structure of the roof was covered in crystal plastic, so the treetops can be seen from inside. (Esdras Guimarães)
