The first space of the exhibition has 400 m² and transforms the sidewalk into a space for occupation and permanence, with welcoming seating areas, artistic interventions and gardens. "We are inviting people to occupy the sidewalk and discuss our relationship with the city. We will transform it into a space for occupation and permanence, offering comfort through welcoming seating areas, access to art through artistic interventions applied to the wall, structural functionality through draining and accessible floors, in addition to rain gardens that enhance our native species through planting and afforestation", explain the professionals.

At the entrance, visitors can enjoy furniture from the Pau e Pedra line, produced and designed by the partnership between the offices. The urban furniture is the transition between the lightness of nature and the materiality of the city, with straight and clean lines, the concrete comes to life. in a chair, bench, lounger, among other objects, when positioned in different ways with wooden slats.

The grandstand was builtwith autoclaved pine and has seats of varying heights, depths and angles, which create different situations, possibilities and views. As it increases in height, it becomes a multifaceted roof. "The idea of the grandstand is to be more than a furniture, is to create an environment, an occasion. And it is in this environment that we will organize a series of talks and events, open to anyone who wants to participate". The sidewalk would not exist if it were not for the paving, of course. A drainage model was inserted into it, which helps the soil absorb rainwater, in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. The paving is also responsible for much of the accessibility . This is guaranteed through a surface without unevenness or irregularities – for people with mobility limitations, wheelchairs, baby carriages, etc. – and also through signage and tactile maps, which guide people with visual impairments. In addition to this signage, A visual map is provided with information about the surroundings, public transport, nearby points of interest and distances.

Last but not least, there is urban art. In addition to being an important form of expression in the environment, it is a great ally in breaking the monotony of the landscape. "The sidewalk of all colors conveys our desire: that instead of walls that divide, we can have walls that connect us, that move us and that we enjoy walking alongside". There, the leaves become pieces in the hands of Clarice Borian. The designerembroiders the dried leaves as a way of expanding her view of the nature and the simplicity of what is essential to it. This work arose from the intention of feeling the vibration of nature and words and adding this strength to the delicacy of embroidery. There is also the playful sculpture Marinho, by Sara Rosenberg, and the artistic intervention on Anne Galante's wall. https://www.instagram.com/p/BjZtrZ4lLFq/?taken-by=laoengenharia " We wanted to make a model sidewalk, a complete sidewalk, with everything we think a sidewalk should have. This list could not be without street furniture, because the sidewalk does not need to be a space just for passing through, it can be, yes , a living space. Another important item is lighting, to indicate the way and to help us feel safer when walking at night. After all, the city is not made to be used only during the day, we have the right to enjoy it at different periods of the day and to feel safe in it", they conclude.
