“Rian Fontenele’s production is dedicated to a search that is sometimes unknown. The path of this search is a discontinuous process through painting, woodcuts, pyrography, embroidery and poetry that highlights the artist’s restlessness,” says Bianca Dias.
His work is marked by austerity, the sobriety of elements and the presence of dramatized characters, who seem to revere silence and memory.
