CASA COR Campinas 2016 opens its doors to the public this Thursday, March 31. The event will take place at the EntreVerdes condominium, a high-end real estate investment considered one of the most sustainable in the country. For the exhibition, two mansions totaling 2,000 m² were built to house the spaces. The Bossa Nova house was designed by the associated architects Adriana Consulin and Izilda Moraes, and the Tropicália house was designed by architects Adriano Stancati and Daniele Guardini Stancati, from the Guardini Stancati + Design firm. The franchise chose the Monoforte Construction System, an innovative technology that is being launched in Brazil by the company Termotécnica.
The construction method uses walls made of monolithic reinforced concrete panels with thermal insulation, which can replace structural or sealing masonry. Monoforte's hydraulic, sewage and electrical pipes are installed between the panels and the metal mesh, resulting in a strong, fast and economical system that is already used in several countries.
According to Termotécnica, compared to masonry, constructions made with this methodology can have a reduction in the time required for labor of more than 30%, the value per m² can be more than 20% lower, the amount of waste from the construction can be reduced by up to 80% and the thermal and acoustic insulation is made with 100% recyclable material. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn more about the technique and watch a time-lapse video showing the construction stages of the work for this edition of CASA COR Campinas at Studio Monoforte, which will be located in the central square that connects the two houses in the exhibition.
