“It was a very old house with three different structures, built at different times. We conceptualized the project starting with the structure : metal pillars and beams supported by structural walls, walls around the house peeled back to show the beautiful ceramic bricks… andvoilà! With white walls and the gardens, the beautiful space appeared”, says the architect.

Because it is an old structure, several walls had to be maintained. The solution was to make the metal structure loose and, at times, with small holes that accentuate this purpose.“The necessary structure became our party and we chose to highlight it rather than hide it,” says Ângela.
