The former medical center of QI 9 in Lago Sul is hosting CASACOR Brasília for the third year in a row. The 26th edition of the show features 44 decorated environments in a space of 4,000 m². Some projects rescue the history of the property by using the structure of the building as a decorative highlight of the environments. Partners Ana Luiza Veloso and Amanda Saback, who run Living Poesia em Rótulos , used one of the pre-existing pillars to support the wine cellar made of metal tubes.
With 105 m², the Ticket Office , designed by the Debaixo do Bloco Arquitetura office, highlights the imperfection of the construction, rescuing the real structure of the building. Among the trends presented, Wabi-sabi (of Japanese origin, which appreciates the aesthetics of simplicity, rusticity, of the imperfect and the natural). In the space, works by the artist Christus Nobrega.
The Casa Coworking space, from the collectives BORAnaOBRA and Interiores na Prática, has 128.5 m² with references to stripped-down and collaborative workplaces, such as Google headquarters. The industrial style is represented by the exposed concrete blocks, rustic plaster, metal screens , exposed electrical conduit, 3D coating and demolished pillars.
