Roberta Vilela and Tatiana Coutinho - Todeschini Poetry House. CASACOR Espírito Santo 2023 Project.(Caio César/)
/28 - Arthur Lahass - Facciata Del Mar and Checkpoint do Design. Architect Arthur Lahass debuts at CASACOR inspired by the Italian-Brazilian essence of the show's home, the Clube Ítalo-Brasileiro. The space is reminiscent of Italian architecture, even in the Tuscan arch that forms part of the car entrance railing. All the textures, materials and elements were designed to bring back emotional memories and establish a connection with the person. The coverings give texture to the space, from the charming handcrafted brick to the mural made exclusively for the club's external façade. The furniture, ceramics, paintings and even Indonesian pieces at Check Point do Design. (Caio César)
/28 - Fernanda Lorencini - Hall and Women's Restroom. A new talent at CASACOR ES, the architect designed the hall that leads to the show's restrooms as a cozy space. The neutral and light tones invite you to slow down your mind and embrace a sense of calm and security. The indirect and soft lighting brings relaxation and senses such as smell and touch are stimulated with soft fragrances and welcoming textures. In the women's restroom, the idea was to transform it into a true home. The environment is permeated by greenery, which brings a sense of balance, health and well-being. Woody elements and a special fragrance give the environment a fresh feel, connecting the visitor to the space. (Caio César)
/28 - Jaqueline Lopes de Almeida - Men's Toilet. In her second participation in CASACOR ES, the first designing a space, architect Jaqueline Lopes is responsible for the Men's Toilet for the show and brings elegance, sophistication and charm to the 23 m² space, abusing dark and strong tones. The space aligns aesthetics and functionality and is comfortable and full of personality. The more sober tones contrast with organic lines and lush vegetation marks the welcoming and cozy touch of the environment. (Caio César)
/28 - Cyane Zoboli - Loft Deca. Right at the entrance, the furniture curation stands out in a context of great synergy and presence with the artwork by Romilda Patez, which completes the entire space. Connecting the entire loft, a light living room integrates the entire 110 m² space, which has a balcony with a view of the late afternoon of the capital of Espírito Santo and a space for entertaining. The carpentry is present in an extensive muxabi partition and important names in national design, such as Jader Almeida, Roberta Banqueri and Studio Bola, give even more charm to the space. (Caio César)
/28 - Jarbas Gomes and Cassius Gonçalves - Via Dell'Immigrazione Italiana. On the eve of the 150th anniversary of Italian immigration to the state of Espírito Santo, the professionals remember the families who left Italy for Brazil in search of promising horizons. The spirit of “Mérica”, as they called the Americas, symbolized an invitation to leave behind the adversities that plagued their home region and rebuild in a fertile land. This is a path of memories, celebration and recognition of the roots that underpin the present. Walking along this path is to delve into the origins of diversity and understand how Italian immigrants reverberate in our identity. (Caio César)
/28 - Sergio Palmeira Studio - Young Couple Loft. Dark walls, LED screen and a swimming pool crossing the space, which can be shared from the gourmet balcony, bathroom and living room. Contemporaryity is a hallmark of Studio Sergio Palmeira’s projects. A partition gives privacy and reveals what this young couple enjoys in life. Lighting effects and designer furniture complete the professional's urban language. (Caio Cesar)
/28 - Larissa Villaschi - Italian Loft. Italian colonization in Espírito Santo began in the late 19th century, when several families arrived in Santa Teresa, bringing their culture, traditions and memories. CASACOR ES's Italian Loft celebrates all of this and highlights this legacy in architecture and design, paying beautiful homage to the Tuscany region, with its medieval villages, wineries and bucolic landscapes, arches and faded yellow colors. Architect Larissa Villaschi brought warmth to the space, with touches of minimalism and modernity, favoring natural stones, wood and original materials and upholstery from Italy. (Caio César)
/28 - Renzo Cerqueira - Studio Oásis. The space is designed to be a haven of renewal and connection, where hope and fertility emerge amidst scarcity. With a careful selection of natural elements such as vegetation and natural stone and wood cladding, the environment creates a feeling of comfort and elegance, evoking the resilience of nature. In addition to relaxation and reflection, the project encourages memorable moments of conviviality in the kitchen, which awakens affective memories with its aromas, and in the living and dining rooms, where deep conversations and contagious laughter take place. (Caio César)
/28 - Ximene Villar - Loft Corpo e Morada. A veteran at CASACOR ES, designing spaces since 2016, architect Ximene Villar designed the Loft Corpo e Morada with harmonious integration between spaces, creating an atmosphere of connection between the human being and their living space. In it, the body is embraced by the softness of the environment, designed to stimulate the senses and promote physical and mental well-being. In 113 m², the architect explores the interaction between organic elements and natural materials, such as the refinement of natural rock, the warmth of wood and the landscaping with Brazilian plants. Highlights include the Vivi armchair by Sérgio Rodrigues and the presence of works of art by names such as José Bechara, Manfredo de Souzanetto and Mai-Britt Wolthers. (Caio César)
/28 - Carol Del Piero - Executive Studio. With the highly contemporary proposal of studios, where the bedroom, living room and kitchen are usually integrated into a single space, without dividing walls, Carol Del Piero created a space focused on the executive woman who needs a base in the city where she works, but who wants a true refuge, an environment for self-care. It is a space that reflects her feminine essence and meets her needs during travel, offering comfort, warmth, textures and a green area. The proposal demonstrates how to make the most of a reduced space, without sacrificing design and functionality. (Caio César)
/28 - Lorena D'Arc and Rafaela Reis - Makeup Room. Inspired by the beauty of strong and elegant women, architects Lorena Dar'c and Rafaela Reis created a magical analogy between the use of cosmetics and the mineral compounds that adorn the environment. Just as makeup enhances feminine beauty, materials with mineral touches, such as the imposing marble and the delicate liquid wallpaper composed of cotton and mica, beautify the home. Highlights include the presence of a huge jabuticaba tree and the blogger's island-shaped desk, a versatile tool for building a digital presence, reflecting the evolution of home office work and how beauty professionals share their passion and expertise. (Caio César)
/28 - Letícia Quintanilha and Victória Nader - Reception Lounge. The Reception Lounge of Letícia Quintanilha and Victoria Nader uses natural stone mosaics on a concave wall. The phrase “The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts” welcomes visitors. A robust upholstered piece of furniture with rounded shapes flanking a large tree invites visitors to change their tune, as they are definitely entering the world of CASACOR. (Caio César)
/28 - Cris Locatelli - Lounge Gourmet. The environment created by architect Cris Locatelli invites us to explore the deep connection between our body and the refuge we choose. Wood is the star of the walls and, on the floor, a tribute to the interaction between matter and humanity. The warm texture reminds you of the connection with nature and its soft aroma brings serenity. The natural stone countertops testify to the union between human skill and earthly beauty. Soft lighting creates an atmosphere conducive to introspection and connection. Sofas and chairs invite you to relax, share and balance the pleasure of food with human communion. (Caio César)
/28 - Aline Leivas - Skyline Restaurant. In her second participation in CASACOR, the professional aims to create a functional environment. The space is dynamic, innovative and harmonious with the beautiful landscape of Vitória Bay. Skyline Restaurante is a celebration of one of the greatest riches of Italian culture: gastronomy, full of seasonal products, freshness, seasonings and pure passion, all present in the menu created especially for CASACOR by chef Daniel Castro. Dolce far niente or the “sweetness of doing nothing” is in this space, which is a true invitation to enjoy life with pleasure, relaxing and enjoying good company and good dishes. (Caio César)
/28 - Aparecida Lamari - Ginteria. Aparecida Lamari is a veteran of CASACOR ES: this is her fifth participation in the Espírito Santo show. “This is the first time I have designed a gastronomic space for the show and I have high expectations. Ginteria is the hot spot at CASACOR ES”, she celebrates. For the space, the professional says that she sought inspiration in the origin of gin, which, although it was born in Holland, was popularized in England. “We have a more intimate, more sober environment”, emphasizes the architect. (Caio César)
/28 - Fernando Sotele - Sensory Space. The sensory is what is perceived through the senses. The space proposes a connection with the earth and with our essence. Earthy tones generate a welcoming atmosphere, seeking solutions present within Brazilian culture, such as the clay floor and the organic shapes of the carpentry and exclusive lighting fixtures. The environment also dialogues with the most contemporary design trends, to increase the feeling of comfort and stimulate the senses of the visitor. Everyone is invited to touch, look closely at textures and colors, smell the smells and listen to music that give fluidity to the space, which connects the interior with the exterior. (Caio César)
/28 - Sophia Carvalho - Functional Lavatories. In her debut at CASACOR ES, architect and urban planner Sophia Carvalho was inspired by the origin of life, that is, nature, and this is reflected in the materials. The stone is reminiscent of the earth, but its blue veins and wavy finish are reminiscent of the sea. The forest is present in the wooden cobogó. The acrylic frames with stones evoke the transparency of water and the sea, and ceramic pieces add a touch of charm. In the color palette, nature once again shows its strength in the shades of terracotta, blue, white and wood. (Caio César)
/28 - Mariana Freitas and Mayra Catabriga - Wine Spot. The duo chose Wine Spot for their debut at CASACOR ES. “With a cosmopolitan tone, our space has the face of Vitória. We are bringing nature to Wine Spot and we value products and materials from Espírito Santo. We are also demystifying the idea that wine requires intimate environments. It is a bold environment”, says architect Mariana Freitas. The entire environment harmonizes with the labels brought especially for CASACOR by Vila Porto Vinhos, coming from the most diverse countries and also from Italy, which permeates the entire exhibition. (Caio César)
/28 - Romina Passos and Fabricia Nunes - Galeria do Artesanato. A space that resembles a gallery, an art installation in 62 m². The circular environment creates a fluidity and, in addition to this, the professionals chose organic, rounded shapes and materials that refer to the rustic with terracotta texture, recalling the concept of sustainability. Rebars, carpentry and upholstery also follow this rounded line that refers to the organic. (Caio César)
/28 - Bruna Perim - Balcony of the Oenophilic. Inspired by the Poem Candeeiro by Carmen de Oliveira, the environment portrays affection and well-being, showing how the relationship with the space we live in can change sensations, perceptions and feelings. Reminiscent of Tuscan balconies, with the deconstructed garden and a mix of aromas, the project brings a relationship between wine and the upholstery that embrace the space - Bruna made this year's environment practically an extension of the Winery that she signed at CASACOR 2022. (Caio César)
/28 - Daniela Barbosa - Jewelry. To display the works of art by jewelry designer Ricardo Vieira, the architect used prominent elements such as natural Da Vinci stone extracted from emerald mines and gave fluidity to the environment through different natural textures. The organic sofa invites you for conversation or contemplation. Nude, green and terracotta tones are combined with wood, greenish natural stones and textured paints. The exquisite quartzite coating brings warmth, beauty and connection with nature to the jewelry. The store's all-glass entrance allows integration with the outside. (Caio César)
/28 - Heliomar Venancio - Arcelormittal Square. The highlight of the space is the metal structure enhanced by the view of the sea, connecting it with the external environment and demonstrating the value of steel in civil construction. The professional opted for a minimal intervention in the surrounding structure, a way of enhancing the existing architecture, with landscaping bringing in various shades of green. The sustainability of the project is highlighted by the use of draining flooring and certified wood, and the lounges are configured as spaces for contemplation, referencing the four elements: fire, earth, air and water. (Caio César)
/28 - Letícia Costa and Karina Scalfoni - Mídia Lounge. In the post-pandemic world, podcasts have gained a fundamental place in people's lives. Inspired by this idea, the architects created a multifunctional space that combines technology and comfort - whether in furniture or equipment. The space has three Instagrammable booths with mirrors and lighting so that users can have an experience and stand out. The studio for interaction and fostering discussions with interviewees is complemented by a comfortable lounge. Acoustic-treated glass, panels on the walls and a special ceiling isolate the hubbub. (Caio César)
/28 - Letícia Finamore - Techno Lounge. In the 140 m² space designed for Audi, the official car of CASACOR ES, the architect chose the most current and technological features in the world of décor. It is a great hub of content, diversity, art and culture, and also a space to gather friends and feel at home. Timeless materials such as natural stone, wood, aluminum frames, glass, mirrors and porcelain tiles are illuminated with LED lighting. The walls are finished with burnt cement. The balcony connects with the outside and the proximity to the sea and nature provides lightness and comfort. (Caio César)
/28 - Laís de Sá - Café Coworking Marelli. Laís de Sá debuted at CASACOR ES in 2022, designing the Home Office. This time, the architect surrenders to the charms of coffee. "We understand that coffee brings people together. This environment will be a great meeting point at the show. Our proposal involves interactivity, technology and comfort, all aligned with affective memories around coffee", she says. In the environment, furniture with her own design makes up the coworking space, combining innovation, technology and comfort. (Caio César)
/28 - Renata Tristão - Golden Eye. The space invites visitors to explore the connection between the physical space we inhabit and the intrinsic relationship with our own body and well-being. By breaking down the Gustavo Eyewear logo and incorporating its rounded shapes into the space, the architect also incorporates its history, the delicacy and creativity of its production. The highlight of the space is the mirrored wall, with its yellow film, which echoes the search for a brighter and more sustainable future, aligning with the atmosphere of regeneration proposed by this year's theme, Body & Home. (Caio César)
/28 - Thainá Santi - Urban Studio. Urban Studio is a space that reflects the essence of a young couple from Espírito Santo: Natália Scarpati, a talented furniture designer, and her husband Marcelo Gomes, a musician and video and image producer. With a combination of modern and rustic styles, the space expresses the individuality and sensibilities of each couple. The choice of furniture and decorations conveys a feeling of warmth and protection, valuing Brazilian design, especially that of Espírito Santo. Urban Studio marks the debut of architect Thainá Santi at CASACOR ES and is a place of permanence, where the couple builds memories and meaningful experiences. Furniture, decorations and coverings were produced especially for the space. (Caio Cesar)
/28 - Roberta Vilela and Tatiana Coutinho - Casa Poesia Todeschini. The 40 m² studio was inspired by the Biomimetic House according to Marko Brajovic, who designs portals that connect human beings with nature, in an immersive, ancestral and futuristic architecture that brings affection and memory. A large bookshelf from ceiling to floor holds erudition and the pleasure of getting lost in the words of literary treasures. Every curve and every detail is a tribute to the vision of the artists and designers who came together to create a setting where creativity unfolds without limits. An invitation to get involved in the stories told by each work of art, by each piece of furniture. (Caio César)
