Sculpture Courtyard - Ivan Rezende Architecture. C Contemplate. Contemplate. Contemplate. There are many environments and places suitable for the simple act of letting yourself be and appreciating nature at CASACOR Rio. But here, in this open-air environment designed to encourage interaction among visitors, contemplation makes even more sense. With provocative architecture, the space functions almost as a lookout from which one can see other environments in the exhibition. The mix of materials is also surprising. There is everything from naval plywood – used in the panels that “protect” the Caridade statue – to Kilimanjaro marble, a super-technological stone that is being launched at the exhibition.
