The book “Sustainable Landscaping for Brazil: Integrating Nature and Humanity in the 21st Century”, written by landscaper Ricardo Cardim , reveals that 90% of the plant species used in landscaping projects in Brazil, the country with the greatest biodiversity in the world, come from other countries, following aesthetic and commercial motivations, disconnected from native vegetation with low ecosystem potential and causing harm to local flora and fauna.

"The idea is to create the feeling that those plants have always been there on the land and the building grew among them.
