Among the futuristic creations (or not so futuristic, like this
first village for humans on the Moon ) and the sustainable projects that foresee
a greener future for all , one specific creation stands out at this Venice Biennale:
the honeycomb architecture of Tomáš Libertíny .

The concept is simple: the visual artist "collaborated" with more than
60,000 bees to create the exhibition of naturally occurring sculptural works by bees, who
built their wax honeycombs around a prefabricated 3D-printed skeleton .

During the
Bienalle , visitors have the opportunity to experience the sculptural works in person, as well as watch videos that show the
process behind their construction . Additionally, the virtual event "Bee Engaged - Building Back Better for Bees" calls for cooperation and global solidarity to address threats to food security and agricultural livelihoods, while prioritizing environmental regeneration and pollinator protection.
