The projects differ from the norm in a few ways: According to the company, they are built using a simplified process that is faster, more cost-effective and less wasteful than traditional methods.
Buildings are designed to generate their own activity using minimal energy and without fossil fuels . In addition, they can generate extra energy that is stored and redistributed .

The team has completed its first model unit , an ADU called the Cosmic Studio, which totals 350 square feet .The compact residence features one bathroom and an open area for sleeping, living, dining and cooking.

Cosmic creates its units through a “hybrid prefab approach,” with parts of the building made in a factory and other components constructed on site.
