COAT OF ARMS São Paulo celebrates another important step
in its history of waste management, reaffirming its firm commitment to
social responsibility . After the announcement of the
Zero Waste certification ,
Accessibility Seal and
Sustainability Report with
impressive results , the process of
donation of
43 tons of
materials constructive used during the exhibition.
NGO Solidarity with Art
Among the partner institutes honored is the NGO
Solidariedade com Arte , a non-profit civil society organization that, since 2004, has used art as a tool for transforming the lives of countless people, both directly and indirectly. The project received coverings, niches, doors, shelves, sinks, wooden partitions and supplies.

Marcela Munhoz, president and founder, says that much of the material received from
COAT OF ARMS will be used in training classes
in crafts , including mosaic and carpentry techniques. "We have been serving people for over 20 years
in social vulnerability and, through cooperativism, we transform more than 5,000 lives", he says.

Part of the
materials was allocated
to create the
library of the space, and also to renovate the bathrooms. The other items are in the improvement plans of the
School Kitchen , which welcomes, feeds and trains part of this community.
Farming

Fazendinhando , a project directed by
Ester Carro , whose objective is to promote territorial, cultural and socio-environmental transformation
in favelas, made by and
to residents, wooden boards, cement boards, glass, mirrors, coverings, doors, shelves, cement and paint were provided. These supplies will be used both
to improvements in the NGO's headquarters
