In this edition, CASACOR São Paulo continues its Sustainability Program , with the goal of maintaining at least 99% of waste recovery. It will also offset 100% of its carbon emissions , including the Carbon Neutral edition of the CASACOR Yearbook and, In addition to having Zero Waste Certification , the edition has the HBC (Healthy Building Certificate) seal , which attests to the healthiness of the event environment.
The expansion of social responsibility activities is also part of the strategies, with the Casa da Daniela Project, in partnership with the NGO Fazendinhando , by architect Ester Carro. CASACOR's noble waste will be used in the renovation of a house in Jardim Colombo/Paraisópolis, with the execution of services carried out by Fazendeiras, women from the neighborhood who received training in civil construction, including during the CASACOR São Paulo project, with training in painting, in partnership with Tintas Coral .
Another important action is the partnership with Movimento Greenk , which transformed CASACOR São Paulo into one of the electronic waste disposal points located in the city's main parks and public buildings. The initiative has the support of the Secretariat for Green and Environment. The collection point is part of the São Paulo City Hall and collects around 30 tons of electronic waste per year. The idea of bringing the collection point into the exhibition is to recover and direct electronics (cell phones, tablets and computers) to schools and needy organizations.
The practices of the CASACOR Sustainability Program also remain as a legacy for Allianz Parque, which had its Sorting Center renovated, in a partnership with CASACOR and Coral . Another activity that becomes part of the daily routine is the selective collection and composting of waste. food by the internal Food & Beverage operator, from construction to disassembly.
Other reflections of the application of the waste management program can be seen in the exhibition, in two totally sustainable environments located on the rooftop, which point to the future of the architecture and construction segment.
The LG ThinQ House , created by Estúdio Guto Requena , is a disruptive project, designed for a scenario in which civil construction is one of the main causes of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and in which it is necessary to invest in new ways of designing and building . Completely open-source, it is a digital manufacturing project that seeks to disseminate a sustainable construction method, based on a global collaboration platform, wikihouse. By making the construction system available, it is possible to develop a variety of shapes, adaptable to different project demands. A house connected with new technologies , built from sheets of naval pine plywood, machined on a CNC machine and assembled only by fittings. There are three axes of porticos articulated by a connector module and covered with prefabricated wooden panels that assemble walls and ceiling. A clean, waste-free, organized and efficient work. The external structure (portticos and wooden enclosures) that occupies an area The 100 m² building was assembled in just 10 days. While traditional concrete constructions emit 1 ton of CO2 into the atmosphere for every ton of concrete, the wooden construction sequesters carbon dioxide in the same proportion. The external structure is covered with fiber tiles waterproofed vegetables, a type of lightweight covering, made from recycled paper.
The Deca Studio , created by Leo Romano to look like a lantern and be a point of illumination in the city, is an imposing structure of almost 400m². It was designed as a portal that invites visitors to slow down from their busy routine and focus on the which is more essential. Permeated with natural light, the space transmits a good feeling, like a hug in a time of recovery.
