CASACOR Paraná 2021 brings an unprecedented initiative: for the first time, the exhibition will
capture solar energy and also present to the public environments and objects that use this technology . The
sustainable action is carried out in partnership with
L8 Energy , a pioneering company in importing to the Brazil sector news, such as solar tiles. “This great partnership began in 2019, when
CASACOR was already looking for partners who could include sustainability differentials in the event. Although the 2020 event was postponed, we continued our conversation and now this is coming to fruition,” explains the executive director of
L8 Energy , Guilherme Nagamine.
38 m² penthouse

L8 prepared the roof of a walkway that connects the entrance to the sports center that hosts the exhibition with 36 Amerisolar 400W modules connected to 1 Fronius Symo 12k Inverter over a total length of 38.64 meters.
The structure will generate, on average, 1415.62 kWh/month. To give you an idea, this amount is enough to power around three middle-class homes. The walkway will be permanent, meaning it will continue to capture solar energy even after the event. “This system will stop emitting 4.96 tons/year of CO2, which would be the amount of carbon dioxide that other energy sources would generate. And with With this CO2 saving from the system,
we preserve 36 trees per year ”, adds Nagamine.
Solar energy based products
CASACOR Paraná also has an L8 space with a presentation on how the transformation of solar energy capture into electrical energy works. In addition, the company is exhibiting some products it brought to Brazil, such as umbrellas, backpacks and solar lamps. Alongside this environment, the public will also be able to see a demonstration of how a solar garage works. “We know that the solar energy market is super hot and is a trend for the construction of the future. Therefore, being able to show more of our product to the
CASACOR audience is super important. Our goal is for more and more people to become adept at solar energy.” clean and thus contribute to a more sustainable planet”, concludes Guilherme.
