To meet
accessibility standards, the project built a landfill in order to
reduce the unevenness of the site in relation to the street . “To do this, we used the demolition material from the works in the exhibition, without bringing anything new here.” , says the architect.
In addition, the square also
reused wood from projects from previous editions of the show , which were stored in a warehouse, to create the entrance sign, the pergolas and even the wooden panel.
Practically all the materials are reused , with exception of the porcelain flooring used on the sidewalk.

The owner of the 1970s property liked the result so much that he decided to keep the square project.
Therefore, it will not be dismantled for an indefinite period .

“We are only going to remove some objects and crafts,” says Mario Wilson, with satisfaction. The environment will ultimately be left as
a gift to the city .
