In Latin, “spiro” means “breath” – and it was with this inspiration that architect Lisiara Simon , from Trino Arquitetura, translated into her project at CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2023 an original and innovative proposal. Upon arriving at the space, the public is surprised and can discover several details that, individually and together, complete the Café – whether in the internal space, in the garden or even in the bathroom, which has a multimedia projection as "wallpaper". (Cristiano Bauce/CASACOR)
In the environment, the architect opted for furniture and materials produced according to the principles of the circular economy . The objective was to optimize natural resources , which now have a longer life cycle due to the reuse and recycling of their structures. (Cristiano Bauce/CASACOR)
Among the sustainability resources used are restored glass chandeliers and an armchair and old cinema seats , which belonged to her family and were brought into the space to generate a connection with emotional memories and inspire conscious renewal. (Cristiano Bauce/CASACOR)
In addition to the restored items, the architect researched technologies that make it possible to create items from industrial and consumer waste , such as marble scraps that were incorporated into pillars and used to create dining tables. (Cristiano Bauce/CASACOR)
