The 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale , through its cross-cutting theme "Time, Space, Existence", seeks to draw attention to the urgency of reviewing the management of the planet's natural resources . This is what it also sheds light on the pre-launch of the Amazon Biennial , which takes place in Venice and will have its first full edition presented in 2022 in Belém do Pará, Brasília and New York based on the theme “Survival”. For her work dedicated to a new sustainable intelligence, architect and urban planner Patricia O'Reilly was invited to be the official architecture curator of the Amazon Biennale. In Venice, artist and sculptor Alexandre Mavignier has been collecting admirers for his pre-launch work , Amazon Tears .

Atelier O'R also designed the award-winning architectural project for the new headquarters of the Instituto Favela da Paz, with urban requalification of the surrounding area , which promotes and stimulates a sense of belonging in the local community, raising awareness that public space belongs to all, and integrates works by Mavignier into the facades.
