It is impossible to think of CASACOR without remembering Leo Shehtman . The architect's history is inseparable from that of the brand, and he is the professional who has participated most in the event. His debut at CASACOR , in 1986, dates back to the first edition of the São Paulo show. and the beginning of what would become the brand years later. At the time, he designed a bar under a staircase, a project considered innovative for the time, which was inspired by the work of the German architect and Bauhaus professor Adolf Meyer. Since then, Leo has participated in all editions of the show, with the exception of one.
In addition to São Paulo , Leo has left his mark on exhibitions in Campinas, Espírito Santo , Rio de Janeiro and Brasília . In tune with the trends that emerge in the worlds of architecture and design, his participation never ceases to surprise. In 2019, he brought as a novelty for the capital of São Paulo, the Casa do Fauno — inspired by Roman mythology, the luxurious black and gold project combines industrial iron pieces, rough carpentry and handcrafted objects. The environment also illustrated the cover of the latest CASACOR Book Collection , an important collector's item and trend indicator released annually.
