The theme of the exhibition " From the Present, the Now " deeply influenced architect Rosa May Sampaio , who created a space for CASACOR São Paulo that combines elegance and practicality. Named " Movement, Space, Time ", the project stands out for integrating a dining room and an office that can be adapted to meet various everyday needs.

Measuring 52.25 m², the space was carefully designed to be a multifunctional place, where you can enjoy everything from a leisurely breakfast to a productive day at work, including family meals and get-togethers with friends. Rosa May explains: “I wanted to create a place that could be used for both work and dinner, because nowadays, the dining room often ends up empty.”

With a lowered ceiling , the space becomes even more welcoming; and to add a special touch, three pendants from the Phenomena collection by Estúdio DECHEM were chosen. With wooden bases and marble tops, the dining tables bring refinement and sophistication, which can be used together, accommodating a total of 12 people, or separated, delimiting the uses. To complement the space, Rosa May selected ten 60s-style chairs , with models created by designer Thomaz Saavedra and also by Charles Pollock.

One side of the space is divided by a sliding glass wall, connecting to a winter garden . Rosa May chose natural fiber rugs, as well as handmade blinds and curtains in printed fabric. Artistic highlights include the work “While Talking to Gustav 1,” by Dudu Garcia of Particular Galeria, along with indigenous prints from the architect’s personal collection.
This project, which can be visited until July 28th at Conjunto Nacional, was designed to adapt to the contemporary lifestyle, encouraging the creation of special bonds and memories, encouraging coexistence and better appreciating the present moment.
