Romário Rodrigues - Pages of Time. The family reading room combines aesthetics and literature as records that span time. The 38 m² contain a fireplace and an illuminated floating bar, carved from pearl santana quartzite, extracted in Ceará. Maximalism translates the expansion brought by reading. Antique and design-art pieces – such as the Rio chaise, by Oscar Niemeyer, and the sculpture by Sérvulo Esmeraldo – punctuate roots, memories and references.

This year, CASACOR São Paulo received for the first time the architect from Ceará Romário Rodrigues , author of the environment "Pages of Time": a 38 m2 reading room where visitors could explore the intersection between past, present and future through design and architecture. Based on the central theme, Romário sought to reflect on time as an element of connection between the various human dimensions. In this context, the environment transcends the conventional functionality of a reading room, offering a place for introspection and contemplation .

One of the important elements of the project is the Rio chaise , by Oscar Niemeyer – one of the design pieces that helped define the entire space, serving as an architectural reference and dialoguing with the theme of the exhibition by incorporating lines that defy time. The room is complemented by a contemporary design fireplace and an illuminated floating bar , integrating functionality and aesthetics. “Speaking of time, another way [we found] to honor this abstract entity was by bringing antique pieces to provide even more past information,” comments the architect.
Sustainability is a fundamental element of the project, with initiatives such as the reuse of stones in future projects by the office, reaffirming the architect's commitment to environmentally responsible practices. The choice of materials and decorative elements was guided by the intention of creating a visual narrative that refers to the passage of time . The use of natural stones , such as Perla Santana and Orion, extracted in Ceará, which were chosen for their textures and finishes that vary between raw and brushed, giving the space an appearance that is both sober and refined.

The selection of artworks, including pieces by Servulo Esmeraldo , an artist from Ceará, aims to establish a dialogue between Brazilian cultural roots and the proposal of the environment, enriching the experience of visitors with additional layers of meaning.
