Architects, landscapers, and interior designers gathered this Tuesday, the 24th, to kick off the
CASACOR Rio 2025. The 34th edition of the Rio de Janeiro exhibition takes place from
September 9 to October 26 at the Fashion Mall in São Conrado, showcasing 45 projects between lofts, studios, and compact apartments, ranging from 42 m² to 70 m². Spaces that promise to embody a
new way of living in big cities, in smaller homes that prioritize
functionality and
well-being, without giving up on chic-contemporary design.

During the meeting, which took place in the space that will be occupied by the living kitchen of Deca – the official sponsor of the event – veterans such as
Diego Raposo,
Gisele Taranto,
Jean de Just,
Maurício Nóbrega,
Paola Ribeiro, and
Studio Roca met with talents making their debut in the exhibition. Notably,
Sebastian Gomez,
Juliana Acar, and
Larissa Loh.

For this year, architect
Mario Costa Santos created a
new layout, completely different from last year's. This time, the entrance will be via Rua Povina Cavalcanti, and the route will begin on the first floor where the first lofts and studios will be, as well as shops, a secret bar, a café, and a large community garden in the central area. The second floor concentrates more living spaces and common areas such as laundry and spa. The third floor brings free-access areas: bars, our official restaurant, the bookstore, and the living kitchen from Deca.

In the presentation for the participants, Patricia Mayer and Patricia Quentel, who have organized the exhibition since its first edition in 1991, also discussed the national theme of the year: "
Seed Dreams", an invitation for the cast to create spaces that promote a dialogue between the collective and the projects.
